Season Ticket Sales

The club announced over a week ago that they were considering capping season ticket sales. The early bird June deadline has been known for months. Any season tickets requested before the deadline will be honoured. If anyone believed Trump Plumbing and alike that sales would not be capped and they subsequently are, they only has themselves to blame. Regards extending the deadline and subsequently pausing sales, it was clearly pointed out there would be a cap, and supporters were urged to purchase straight away and not wait.

The Club announced 3 days ago the deadline would be next Wednesday. Could only renew one online, seemed a reasonable plan to renew the others in person on Tuesday. No idea why I couldn’t do the lot online as per the previous year. Nice of people to quote how simple the process is, when clearly it’s not. Nice of people to tell me it’s all my fault for taking any notice of the Club’s announcement re the renewal extension. Tuffers is spot on.

I don’t see them refusing your money on Tuesday if you do rock up to the ground to buy your ticket, in fact I reckon you’ll have others along with you trying to do the same, my advice would be get there early.
The club clearly communicated that the deadline was being extended until Wednesday 7th June, maybe take a copy of that Email along with you.

I don’t see them refusing your money on Tuesday if you do rock up to the ground to buy your ticket, in fact I reckon you’ll have others along with you trying to do the same, my advice would be get there early.

The club also clearly stated that there was a limit and to buy straight away. That said, if people couldn't buy multiple tickets then I concede that their complaint is justified and the club should honour next week's deadline.

It's all very strange, and has created a lot of confusion. The ticket office can't be having much fun dealing with the punters, given the website still barely works.

Its their own fault, if it doesn't work then get it fixed. I get the feeling they don't do much testing.

I don’t see it though. It would be a backward step after all the good work the club have done to increase home attendances.

I know 100% this is being discussed they’re looking for a solution but it’s a difficult one looking like some of the big teams will take over the east. Not ideal but good to get max revenue

I think it all depends on how we’re doing as to whether ‘ casual Orient ‘ fans come along……….if we’re getting stuffed each week the club may want to let 3,000 away fans take over the East and take their money.
If we’re mid table or above then we’ll probably get more home fans along, but it’s a difficult one for the club with limited capacity and potentially big away followings.

The club is a Biz, end of day as a Biz you need to ensure you sell out and reach capacity for each home game, so the club has to look at the best way to do this to maximise revenue.
As supporters we would like to fill and sell out every home game with O’s fans, and minimum away fans as possible but the club is run by owners and not by the fans.
