Why the hell don't interviewers grow a pair and say can you just answer the question and stop repeating the same thing. We used to have interviewers who pushed politicians and were prepared to ask the "difficult" questions. Where the f*ck did they all go?

Re: Tory Watch
Ask difficult questions and you will instantly lose your access to the politicians, so you end up entirely unable to "report" on politics and end up redundant.
The problem appears to be that there are so many "journalists" prepared to give them an easy ride, so the politicians don't need the ones who are more likely to be critical (or even just mildly enquiring) to get their message across. Sad.

Re: Tory Watch
That honours list is shorter than I feared but nevertheless an absolute Gold Standard example of rewarding people for being c*nts or just general clown shoes failures. Really well done.

Absolutely obscene. The image implanted on my brain is him lying down on the Government benches yawning. He has no regard for Democracy or decency.

We already have my local MP and nutjob Sir Desmond Swayne so Sir Rees-Mogg and Fabricant look fairly normal incomparison. The honours system and house of Lords needs thrown out as a whole.

Re: Tory Watch
The one Tory I want to see slung out is the Member for Christchurch, Sir Christopher Chope OBE MP. An arch Boris supporter & a real nut job. He scuppered a Private Member's Bill to outlaw upskirting. Says it all really!

Why are any of us surprised that an array of nut-jobs got gongs for swallowing Boris (‘ rhetoric).
