Striker rankings
Rank Wilkinson, Angol, Bonne and Koroma in order of current ability as a striker.
For me its:
1. Koroma
2. Angol
3. Wilkinson
4. Bonne
Early to judge the new boys I know but interested to see what people think. Would imagine the consensus would be we have downgraded.

Re: Striker rankings
Can't tell on the basis of us playing a bunch of part-timers in pre-season. Let's see how they fare against proper opposition before passing judgement.

Re: Striker rankings
I’ll tell you when I’ve seen angol and Wilkinson play more than 5 mins (or half a season).

Re: Striker rankings
Still don't class Koroma as a striker, but if you compare Angol to Bonne and Wilkinson to Koroma, Angol and Wilkinson have more goals in them individually.
Much depends on how they click as a partnership. On paper we have sold two players who excelled in non league for differing reasons and replaced with two players who could be better at this level. We have certainly done a good job replacing two key players.

Re: Striker rankings
Even then it will be difficult as Koroma and Bonne faced NL defenders whilst Angol and Wilkerson will be up against a slightly higher quality
Comparing will be difficult

Re: Striker rankings
Yeah...agree about Koroma not being a striker but clearly offered loads to the team anyway. So judging him as a striker is unfair.Buddy Manucci wrote: ↑Wed Jul 31, 2019 10:03 pm Still don't class Koroma as a striker, but if you compare Angol to Bonne and Wilkinson to Koroma, Angol and Wilkinson have more goals in them individually.

5 The tea Lady
6 The Cleaner
7 The Burger Seller
8 The bloke that cleans the Toilets
9 Alabi
Alabi is a bit higher than he should be, but I'll leave it for now

Re: Striker rankings
I agree . This question can only really be answered at the end of the season when we've seen how they've done.
Re: Striker rankings
Obviously the fact that some play for us now might cloud the judgement a bit, as well as a change in League. I reckon Angol will be the main striker and Wilkinson slightly behind him.
So maybe a better question would be to base it on last year.
Would you swap Bonne for Angol? Close, I probably would.
Bonne for Wilkinson? No.
Koroma for Angol? No.
Koroma for Wilkinson? Definitely no.

Re: Striker rankings
Does anyone clean them in the East Stand? Would need to be pretty brave to do that.
