Re: Sheffield Wednesday
Theyve been in the top 4 for most of the season, they must be gutted.

Re: Sheffield Wednesday
Yeah, I think turning around a four goal deficit is going to be too much . So along with Derby County we can now also look forward to playing Sheffield Wednesday .

Re: Sheffield Wednesday
Streamed the game with son, who is a Posh fan. Posh on their day they can beat anyone at London Road, we saw them wallop Plymouth there a couple of months ago. Picking up on an earlier comment above on Hector, son says jury out for most Posh fans on him, though noticed in commentary last night it was said that Fergie is a fan and calls him Hector the Protector.

Re: Sheffield Wednesday
Tuffers:-South Yorkshire Police again, they love a Footy fan !!
I say:- Went to see last match of the season early 1970's Blades at home to Chelsea. Chelsea won & got somewhat luckily in to Europe. Blades got relegated. Walking back to Sheffield station & was somewhat disconcerted that the Ole Bill had let the dogs out ( off their leads ), for no obvious reason [ probably no women to rape ]. Lovely lot of fellahs.

Re: Sheffield Wednesday
I remember us beating Sheffield Wednesday quite a few years ago, 4-0. I think all four goals were headers.

Re: Sheffield Wednesday
That young man might regret tripping up his ticket . After 30 minutes Sheffield Wednesday have pulled back two goals . Although Peterborough are still winning 4-2 on aggregate Sheffield Wednesday are back in with a chance

Re: Sheffield Wednesday
Fantastic afternoon that was. I think Wednesday had the whole of the East, and in fairness took their hammering with good grace iirc.Chicken Dhansak wrote: ↑Sat May 13, 2023 3:01 pm I remember us beating Sheffield Wednesday quite a few years ago, 4-0..
Chorley (pen), Kane, Revell, M'Poku.
It's been mooted at many times, but I do believe if such a thing exists, Wednesday are cursed. Huge club. Easily Premiership size, but they simply cannot get it together..

Re: Sheffield Wednesday
I wouldn't want to even imagine being a fan of either side tonight, that's what made our wonderfully relaxed march to the title in the last 3-4 weeks so enjoyable
