Will hardly be something special if it’s just a contract extension that the whole world and their aunt already knew about.
Bet my aunt don’t But I know what you mean. Coulson probably, may be Happe. Good news of course but I doubt it will be mind blowing. Good club communication though.
On the face it appears good news, so let’s hope that his agent hasn’t done another bonne and agreed a years extension in exchange for a ridiculously low buy out clause.

Imagine thats exactly whats happened. To be it might be the only way to get people to sign. They know theirs been interested so its in the clubs interest to sign them another year, and they will want some reassurance that if someone comes along and bids a certain amount, they will be allowed to go. Just the reality of being a team like Orient.
I'd prefer that to Bonne not signing the extension and going on a free this year.

So, let me get this straight. We don't want the club to let young players go... but also we don't want them to sign them to stay.

Bonne was a non league player not even guaranteed to repeat his first season success when he signed the deal. We got a decent fee for him considering the contract was signed after his first year at us, with future clauses should he go on to more success. I don't really see what the issue is.
