Orient chairman during arguably the greatest period ever In the clubs history.
Had the pleasure of chatting to him at 78 reunion dinner, what a great bloke who loved the Orient.

Missed this on the other thread. Yes, absolutely deserves it's own thread.
Brian was a decent guy and a true Orient fan.
The game, and particularly the finance of it, was so different in those days and he did brilliantly to keep us in what is now the Championship for as long as he did.
He wasn't averse to doing a stint in the ticket office either. In the 78 cup run, I remember buying my ticket for the Chelsea match from him

Sad to hear the news, RIP Brian, and thanks for everything you did for our club.
He was chairman when I was a kid, and oversaw us steer away from financial disaster, to the old Division Three title under Jimmy Bloomfield, and within a whisker of making it to the top-flight. Top guy.
