Christian Stellini, sacked as Spurs caretaker manager. Has a caretaker ever been sacked before? Absolute clown club.

Re: Manager Merry Go Round
That’s a bit harsh. He’s stabilised Port Vale as a League One club . I’d be happy enough with that achievement next season

They could actually lose All their games, and still stay up- though unlikely I know.
Rumoured to be £500k for steering the ship for the last 4 games, with a £2.5m bonus if they stay up.
The bar owners on the Costa Brava, or wherever he prances about in the summer these days, will be rubbing their hands with glee.

Re: Manager Merry Go Round
Tranmere appoint Ian Dawes, who was the assistant manager.
Their fans have lost the plot, not happy at all.

Big fat Sam - gone
Phil Neville - gone from the Miami sound machine (or whatever they are called). Another poor managerial product from the class of '92.

That’s a bad decision by Shrewsbury. I’d be happy with a 12th place finish next season. Anything but relegation would do me

Re: Manager Merry Go Round
Gary O'Neil, binned off by Bournemouth as thanks for comfortably keeping them up.
Re: Manager Merry Go Round
Not sure how I feel about that one - I’m tempted to react like “shows the entitlement and short termism etc”, and I don’t think that’s necessarily wrong… but also, paying off a two year contract at a point where the guy has the close season to find another job, and where his reputation is intact (rather than B’mouth getting rid when a run of bad results gives them a pretext) might actually be an ok way of getting rid of a manager.
If they actually do have a strategy here, then it’s maybe not terrible? Especially as, if it goes wrong, there’s no hiding that it’s this decision that did for them…

Re: Manager Merry Go Round
Does at least make more sense than giving him a transfer window and 10 games then dropping the axe.
