Nope and I will put my neck out here right now and say we will win league 2 best season.

I believe that we will finish in at least the top 7 but remember league 2 has three automatic promotion places so that’s 3 times the chance

The right upgrades and no reason we can't be up there again next season.
Also depends what happens with Bonne, Koroma, Ekpiteta, Happe though.

No. A lot depends on who leaves amongst our best players & of course who we bring in over the summer.
There's no reason to suggest that we can't challenge for a strong finish next season.

Bloody hell, let’s not get carried away (to those saying we'll win the thing)!
Our current squad would do fine but we’d need a few tweaks as SF says if we’re to challenge

If we go up and add quality to the squad to replace the out of contract players we could easily do a double promotion. Depends on if L2 football is enough to keep Bonne, Koroma, Ekpiteta and Happe. Those guys may have a tough decision on their hands.

They might be influenced to stay if we get a half decent midfield!

We'll have to sign a CM or two in the summer whether the management want to or not this time

No. Top half at least, possible play offs and with 3 automatic slots even that is possible.
That written, I would have taken 22nd two seasons ago.

Does anyone know if Brill can play league football under the agreement of his insurance payout when he retired previously?

I assume he could if he paid it back.Smendrick Feaselberg wrote: ↑Mon Apr 22, 2019 6:46 pm Does anyone know if Brill can play league football under the agreement of his insurance payout when he retired previously?

Yeah. Guess it depends whether it's worth his while to remain a player as opposed to go back to just coaching.whittle81 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 22, 2019 7:05 pmI assume he could if he paid it back.Smendrick Feaselberg wrote: ↑Mon Apr 22, 2019 6:46 pm Does anyone know if Brill can play league football under the agreement of his insurance payout when he retired previously?

This squad is a lower league two team but dont think it would take many additions to get us top half.

I'd guess his ability is more of a limiting factor.Smendrick Feaselberg wrote: ↑Mon Apr 22, 2019 6:46 pm Does anyone know if Brill can play league football under the agreement of his insurance payout when he retired previously?
But back to the original question, with the right upgrades on those contracts expiring and keeping hold of our starlets, no reason we shouldn't be looking at a top 3 place.

I don't know where we would finish in League Two next season but with this squad of players and JE at the helm it won't be in the bottom two so, No.

Re: Would you take 22nd in League Two next season?
Yes. You'd probably want him to be the backup keeper in the league, though I'd expect him to start if eligible. It's more that if he can't be registered as a player then we definitely need a new keeper too.CreamofSumYungGai wrote: ↑Mon Apr 22, 2019 7:31 pmI'd guess his ability is more of a limiting factor.Smendrick Feaselberg wrote: ↑Mon Apr 22, 2019 6:46 pm Does anyone know if Brill can play league football under the agreement of his insurance payout when he retired previously?

Re: Would you take 22nd in League Two next season?
Presuming we get promoted the expectations should be avoid relegation and anything else is a bonus, then reassess after the first season and make sure we have a squad that can hit the play offs for season two. That should be expectations.
In reality I don't take 22nd, no.

AS we've seen this season there are some good players in the National League .Personally, I think we should raid a couple of our National League rivals for their best players.
