Summer break
Cheltenham Town played their last game on May 4th, while we played our last game on May the 19th (FA-Trophy). It means that Cheltenham (and all the other League Two teams) have had a much longer summer break than us. Surely it has to be an disadvantage.

Re: Summer break
It's not just us - think this is typical Orient fan paranoia. What about the unsuccessful teams from the League Two playoffs?

Re: Summer break
The point about the play-offs is actually quite good. We have been in unsuccesful in the play-offs three times over the last 20 years, and struggled the following season on each occasion.

Re: Summer break
Players were pretty much on the beach after our final league game. I'd say physically they're no more at a disadvantage than any other side.
Mentally how they'll handle the loss of JE once the season starts is another matter entirely, especially if first few results don't go our way.

Re: Summer break
I don't get it. The only point made about the playoffs is that more teams than just Orient had a late finish to the season.
