Preferring Judd over Ling is not being a Ling hater. That is frankly a stupid way of looking at players. I don’t hate Ling, just don’t think he should play ahead of Judd. Not complex.

Not with Ling at full back.
Ling will be first choice. We all know why.
Judd offers a greater threat going forward and more energy and effort overall when compared to journeyman NL level Ling. But Ling will get the gig. I wonder why. Well I don’t really
Stating Ling plays over others & stating we all know why
Suggests you think something different Doh .
Opinions in Football may indeed vary ,
But to constantly bleat & bitch the only way he gets a game is down to connections
Suggest it is more "COMPLEX" than you make out.

I’ve seen him play plenty, same for Judd. I struggle to see why he gets the gig. Maybe Judd is a bit over enthusiastic with his tacking and needs to calm down. Rash. Ling is steady, nothing flash, nothing exciting and rarely offers much going forward bar a decent throw. Not always that great defensively either at times but that goes for most lower league players.
Maybe Ross prefers steady over exciting to start the season. If he is cautious then Ling will provide all the caution he needs.
I’ve always liked full backs with a bit of flair going forward, like Caprice and dare I say Clohessy. The addition of a bit of pace, some width, crossing etc. Unless Ling ups his game that’s just st not his style. Which I view as boring.
I think it was our 3rd and winning goal last season against Eastleigh when Ling did superbly well to link up with Dayton before creating a tap-in for Brophy. I hope Lingy has a good season but I’m sure Juddy will get his chance.

Seems to be Dis & Doh who are constantly on it .
Can we have the other names that need to be added to this list .
Poor show Fella. You can’t distinguish genuine criticism from hatred? Both Prez and I have stated many times there is no agenda against anyone. Pity you can’t see the wood for the trees.

There appears to be a few boarders, who seem to think that Sam Ling will get the right back/right wing back slot, because he is Martins son
If thats the case, are you saying that Martin is telling Ross to put him in the team ahead of Myles?
If this was the case, then this is interference similar to that which Beelzebub did during his tenure, which we all agreed was regrettable.
so, do those who reckon young Ling will play, believe that Martin will interfere in the picking of the team?
Let’s hope not. I am sure the powers that be would ever allow such a thing to happen.

Well if you stopped planting so many saplings, the trees & woods would be visible
quite easily. Pity you cant see that a decent young kid is being tainted by some who think
he only gets a game because of ................ utter nause by those who spout such views.

So the assist today was pure fluke was it?
He was so confused he found himself in an attaching position
Your knowledge of football is postage stamp size
Give it a rest ffs Ling

Ling put a good ball in today and all of a sudden he's Cafu.
He was dreadful last year and was targetted by every team that he faced.
Forwards and Wingers tend to target full backs it’s part of the game
Unbelievable Jeff
Don't be obtuse, you know exactly what I'm saying.
If you think that’s me being obtuse then so be it biggles but let’s face it you haven’t got a good word to say about anything Leyton Orient related your always so depressing like a goth at a rave

The saplings got Dutch Elm disease long ago fella.
I have never brought up the subject of nepotism by the way.
Bishops Stortford Manager at half time Tuesday to his team (clearly audible from the corridor outside the changing rooms)
Get at their F****** full backs they are ****. They did and tbf both full backs Judd and Sweeney were awful, Sweeney i can forgive with very limited experience and put under a lot of pressure he struggled to cope but Judd got turned inside out and looked like he had rarely played there before absolutely nothing "exciting" about his play.
Today was as good a 45 minutes I have seen from Sam Ling excellent defending, constantly got forward and put some good balls into the box. As I said in an earlier post going into pre season I thought Judd should start but oN the evidence I have seen in pre season Ling fully deserves to start.
Pretty obvious that Ling and Wright will be scape goated this season. If things don't start well.

Incorrect. You’re confusing negativity and realism.
