RW post match interview
Will be Hartlepool are a good side (as we’re Colchester). But we’re unbeaten in 9 games.
The subs didn’t have the desired impact, but we’ll work on that next week!
You can’t blame McCart, I think he was our best option!!

Re: RW post match interview
I’d wager he’ll say he’s very disappointed by our performance level today.
Re: RW post match interview
Any chance he'll say that Drinan has completely fallen away and here's to him next season?

We fell apart and that will upset him the most, but then he made some poor substitutions again and must carry his share of the blame. We were fortunate to get a point.

It was 17 points ahead of 4th, just a few weeks ago.B.whitehouse+10more wrote: ↑Sat Mar 25, 2023 5:22 pmYou’re showing yourself up fella, 8 points clear of 4th game in hand take a chill pill
The rest are catching us up, and we have to hope the winning post will come in time

Re: RW post match interview
He tore into them after the Colchester game, I don't think it's fair to imply he's complacent or excusing recent performances at all. The big concern was that after the Colchester (and to a lesser extent Swindon) games we'd lose the knack of seeing games out, and that's shown up once again. Saturday is gonna be horrible to watch even if we're 2-0 up and coasting with ten to go.

Re: RW post match interview
Bad substitutions and defensive mistakes have been in the last 4 games. He will probably say we lack punch in the final third. We badly miss Theo.

I’m confused. He seemed to put a bit of blame of sweeney and taking too many touches for their goal but wasn’t he off the pitch at the time?

Think he misspoke and meant Turns for the goal. Was right about Sweeney getting caught on the ball and Sadlier being too slow as wellOTF Photography Ltd wrote: ↑Sat Mar 25, 2023 9:44 pm I’m confused. Re: RW post match interview
Excuses , excuses .We were poo poo and the substitutions were terrible.it’s blatantly obvious to everyone that we should have signed a proven striker instead of to many Centre Backs. Who was ultimately responsible for not signing a proven striker and was it yet again due to penny pinching ?
