Season Ticket Prices 2023/24
Ouch!
I guess you don't become a millionaire by giving away stuff cheaply.

Jesus. Crazy to pay over £450 to watch Orient in the West. Still haven't learnt giving adults discount in the north either.
Half tempted to get one if we go up but I'm not sure i can justify it at that price and will just pick and choose games.

Stand 23/24 22/23 Inc £ Inc £
North 307 209 98 46.89%
South 419 335 84 25.07%
East 431 345 86 24.93%
West 456 365 91 24.93%
Gallery 835 729 106 14.54%
Adult prices as above. Nice that they've let the wealthiest Orient fans off with just a 14% increase, way lower than everyone else
Glaring error in that the differential between the adult prices in the North compared to everywhere else is still well worth people buying a kids ticket and not using it. Numpties.

£450/23 games is roughly £20, so God knows what it will cost on the day.....OTF Photography Ltd wrote: ↑Thu Mar 23, 2023 4:12 pm Jesus. Crazy to pay over £450 to watch Orient in the West. Still haven't learnt giving adults discount in the north either.

Mine’s gone up 23.5% in the early bird. 25% rise if it’s a new one.

Surprised there’s a fixed rate which isn’t contingent on the league we’re playing in next season. Gonna be a hard sell, in the unlikely event we cock up promotion.

Re: Season Ticket Prices 2023/24
Was going to buy a first ever ST but as I only do 13-15 games that’s just throwing money away. Even if it’s £23 in the East on a game by game basis that seems the right strategy for me to ensure vfm.
Some crazy hikes there and no incentive for me as a new ST holder. Seems the club have got this wrong.

Disappointing they didn't reform pricing for families but left it still wide open to abuse.

They should include the JPT, they are low attendances anywhere and would give it more value for money

Re: Season Ticket Prices 2023/24
Feel like we could be more creative with our ticketing options - not just Os but in England in general. Bro in law goes to watch Melbourne Victory sometimes and they have a raft of flexible ticket options and memberships that seem to specifically target people who might not be able to go every week, but still offer a reasonable discount: https://gomvfc.com.au/packages
(Appreciate this is easier to do when you're absolutely miles off filing your ground though)

Re: Season Ticket Prices 2023/24
Still think people should boycott this joke tournament but actually agree the games should be included given how poor attendences are. Lots of clubs lose money on the fixtures anyway.essexfootball wrote: ↑Thu Mar 23, 2023 4:41 pm They should include the JPT, they are low attendances anywhere and would give it more value for money

Re: Season Ticket Prices 2023/24
Charging people a c.25% increase on something which is a non-essential cost whilst the price of everything else such as food, utilities, rent and travel is all going up is not a smart move.
I think the club are getting a bit carried away with the current “sell out” crowds.
They’ll realise their mistake on a dreary afternoon in February 2024 when 4000 people turn up to watch a goalless draw with Burton Albion.

Re: Season Ticket Prices 2023/24
We have been spoilt by the prices that lower league football costs. I have got this from a pal and given that all clubs will be putting prices up because of the cost of living, our season ticket prices are not out of line.
Start of this current season (2022/23) L1 clubs
Accrington Stanley - £264.50 to £274.50
Barnsley - £350 to £475
Bolton - £299 to £379
Bristol Rovers - £352.50 to £397
Burton - £301 to £432
Cambridge - £349 to £459
Charlton - £285 to £625
Cheltenham - £333 to £481
Derby - Season tickets not on sale yet amid takeover uncertainty
Exeter - £368 to £478
Fleetwood - Do not sell season tickets, instead fans pay between £14 and £25 per month over 12-month plan which equates to between £168 and £300
Forest Green Rovers - £306 to £391
Ipswich - £354.50 to £624.50
Lincoln - £390 to £515
MK Dons - £369 to £579
Morecambe - £150 to £275 (highest price drops to £250 once a certain number of tickets are sold)
Oxford - £359 to £530
Peterborough - £429 to £869
Plymouth - £340 to £465
Port Vale - £315 to £400
Portsmouth - £389 to £549
Sheff Wed - £435 to £585

We would moan if the squad is not strengthened next season, well that takes money.

Hope the our season ticket increase isn’t included in the RPI and as a result the BoE lemmings/lemons increasing interest rates again.

Re: Season Ticket Prices 2023/24
When promotion is gained and not if.The increase in season cards will go a long way if enough fans purchase them to increase the budget available to bring in players to consolidate next season or do even better.I hope this is the idea that the board are thinking of?
