It's called the Universal Service Obligation . We have to delivery the crap other companies dump on us .CEB wrote: ↑Tue Mar 21, 2023 8:57 amHas your postie ever put something unwanted through your letter box?Max B Gold wrote: ↑Tue Mar 21, 2023 12:42 amSo no Brexit benefit there then. That " crap " is called Down Stream Access. Our competition gets the contracts to process it then they damp it on Royal Mail to deliver it . You can thank the fcuking EU for that with their competition directive bullshit . Even though we're now out of the EU its all now set in stone thanks to our time being members

Re: Evri/Hermes
We know our Evri driver (his son plays in the same sports team as one of my sons), this may have limited our items lost in transit to just two this year - including two umbrella stands - although we're only in March I suppose.
Initial City Link were the trendsetters for crap delivery - I'd always try and get the supplier to change delivery company if it was with them.

Just bills and parking fines. We've got a new postie who has upset the neighbour by taking a shortcut over his garden into mine. I'm not that bothered but he is a bit " special" when it comes to stuff like this.CEB wrote: ↑Tue Mar 21, 2023 8:57 amHas your postie ever put something unwanted through your letter box?Max B Gold wrote: ↑Tue Mar 21, 2023 12:42 amSo no Brexit benefit there then.
