He's done a marvellous job in galvanising the squad, not seen since Justin and before that Russell were in charge. The style that he has got us playing can be a joy to watch, but it's become all too predictable and now that we can no longer rely on that rock hard defence that we had, now is the time we will see how good Richie really is in adapting the team.

Basically, the next month or so will tell us.

The best managers get their teams over the line, the galvanise and motivated when times are tough or form is dipping. They make the right changes and talk to players in the right way to get the best out of them. The average or bad managers don’t.
Justin did all of the above and i think Richie will too, and become and orient legend.

Unbeaten in 8.

Whats the panic. We were very poor yesterday and got away with it. I think most could see the issues and that will change over the next week or so.

Like most I think we were poor yesterday. The substitutions were poor but ultimately what cost us was going to three centre backs it invited pressure. yesterday we were not good enough in many aspects - a bad day at the office.

But is RW as good as we think, look at table and give your head a wobble he's very very good.

Sorry, but that's simply putting up a smoke screen for our poor form over the last few months.
Our poor form of only losing 5 games all season and being unbeaten in the last 8 do you mean?

I think we would have done in January but that Northampton game where we lost three CB's in one go changed everything .
How many times do we have to keep saying this.

Yes I agree, but I for one at the start of the season did not expect us to be where we are now.

He seems to be making unnecessary substitutions when the team are coping well enough!
We’re just giving points away from winning positions.
I hope the players want promotion as much as the fans.
What were the unnecessary subs made today?

I think the substitutions were probably right but they didn't do their jobs . That's something for Richie to think about before our next game .

Do you think had they not been made we would have conceded 1, 2, 3 goals?
You well know the point I was making!

So which change do you think was unnecessary?

I think bringing on Thompson and going 3 at the back was the right thing to do when they started loading up the front line, yes.

I think bringing Sadlier on for Moncur was the right thing to do, yes. Moncur never got into the game.

I think bringing on Clay to give us some energy in the middle of the park was the right thing to do, yes. (Although I would have taken off Pratley rather than Idris, or even gone with Clay and Pratley holding and moved Idris to the 10 role).

Col Utd created chances throughout the game, it's not like we fell apart after the changes, it's just that they finally took a couple of their chances.

Not worth trying to explain!
Did the changes stop them scoring? No.

The jury is still out for me. He needs to address the God botherers in the squad.
