Shush! Don't question SKS. The grown-ups are now in charge.
Nice to see young Wesley confirming that Labour are now the official Tory 2nd XI.

Re: Labour Watch
It's quite the achievement for an opposition party to look quite so unappealing as an alternative to one of the worst, most increasingly right wing governments for generations. A one term cabinet (they're only having their quick turn, remember?) containing the likes of Reeves, Streeting and Lammy isn't worth anyone's vote.

Re: Labour Watch
It's just top level strategising and as soon as they're in power they're going to nationalise the fu*k out of everything, don't forget.

Re: Labour Watch
Anyone watch Angela Rayner tackling the Arch-Bully at PMQ's today? I was particularly struck by the Government benches' silence when she laid into him. They didn't jeer or heckle and seem to enjoy watching him squirm. To me he looked like a dead man walking ( surely that should be sitting )

Anybody else thinking about getting themselves down to The North of Islington to campaign for Jeremy when the next GE is called?TRUMP Plumbing wrote: ↑Mon Mar 13, 2023 12:46 pmThe battle with Sir Gary of Leicestershire has worked well.

Re: Labour Watch
Sir Kier has said today Labour will freeze council tax this year (even though they're not in government) with a PROPER windfall tax on energy companies.
However, Rachel Reeves has said Labour will not commit to freezing council tax for a year if/when they win the next general election because she "won't announce any spending increases or tax cuts that aren't fully costed and fully funded".
My council tax (Labour council) has gone up by nearly 10% this year.
It's all very confusing...

Re: Labour Watch
Not at all. Whilst the current Labour leadership team is far from perfect what is the alternative? Another term for the Tories.Proposition Joe wrote: ↑Wed Mar 08, 2023 12:02 pm It's quite the achievement for an opposition party to look quite so unappealing as an alternative to one of the worst, most increasingly right wing governments for generations. I’d vote for just about any party, and any imperfect individual to remove the Tories. I really can’t be arsed with arguing about how far to the right Labour, in parts, has become. They are not the current Tory party, that’s the bottom line.

True they are not the current Tory Party probably more like the Davie Cameron version.BoniO wrote: ↑Thu Mar 30, 2023 11:28 amNot at all.
