Re: Exiles thread - Crawley (H)
Looking at current form, Mansfield looks best bet to come 2nd.
Going back to RW comments before Mansfield game, he said, he rated them as best team in the league, and whoever finishes above Mansfield will be in the mix to win the league.
That was before we beat them!
I’m RW we trust

Great as these victories are, they were slim margins against the two bottom teams.

A win is a win, 6 points from last 2 games, don’t care who the teams are or where they are in the league!Give it to Jabo wrote: ↑Sat Feb 18, 2023 5:59 pm Great as these victories are, they were slim margins against the two bottom teams.
Job done!
I said before in a previous post and I’ll say it now, every game we play until we gain automatic promotion will be tight games, but as long as we get something from every game, it won’t be long until we are a L1 team.

Oh don't you worry your little self about that. On this score I've seen it in your character for ages. It certainly doesn't annoy me so your 'added bonus,' I'm afraid, is null and void.ComeOnYouOs wrote: ↑Sat Feb 18, 2023 5:52 pmBetter get used to it chief.Chief crazy horse wrote: ↑Sat Feb 18, 2023 5:46 pmAnd you can do no wrong with your incessantly monotonous posts about Drinan.ComeOnYouOs wrote: ↑Sat Feb 18, 2023 3:45 pm Bet Richie praises Drinan at the end in his interview. Re: Exiles thread - Crawley (H)
Another satisfying win and well deserved . I thought we were by far the better team so well done Orient . Actually I thought Crawley was lucky to get away with only a 1-0 defeat . I thought we should have been at least 3-0 up by half time . We missed three open goals chances. Our oncoming player just failing to get a touch from a cross shot on all three occasions . Anyway no complaints from me and I'll take a 1- 0 win for Orient all day long . One special mention for George Moncur . While playing down the clock at the touchline how on earth did he get that ball past those Crawley defenders .Richie wasn't joking when he said George has quick feet . That was a lovely piece of skill so well done George .

Ruel played really well today . I thought he turned the Crawley defence inside out .

Why wouldn't he because he's arguably the first name on our team sheet . If Ipswich go up he'd probably only be a bench warmer at Portman Road

Think it is one away and two at home now-we have played 2 home games whilst they have played awayB.whitehouse+10more wrote: ↑Sat Feb 18, 2023 5:22 pmStevenage still got to go to Carlisle, Northampton, and Mansfield, also their 3 games in hand are away.EastDerehamO wrote: ↑Sat Feb 18, 2023 5:18 pm Not over the line but we’re closing in. Difficult to see three teams going by us now. Stockport and Mansfield seem the form teams and wouldn’t bet against either of them making automatic, and while their last five have each yielded thirteen points, it’s no more than we’ve got.

Re: Exiles thread - Crawley (H)
Yes, but I see his point, Crawley must have been amazed that they were still on equal terms at half time. We should have won 3 or 4 nil like quite a few other games.

Re: Exiles thread - Crawley (H)
Astonishing to be 13 points clear & yet we've only scored 42. It just shows how superb the team as a whole has been in defending.
This is a season like no other.
I felt sorry for Drinan, some glaring misses. Its been a poor season for him.
I went today & we should have won by 3 but who cares. Its been a fab Feb & the table makes for wonderful reading.
Well done to the team & RW.

Re: Exiles thread - Crawley (H)
Can someone remind me of all Drinnans glaring misses? I obviously recall the scuffed 'shot' from the penalty spot after Ruel had also scuffed his shot at him but genuinely can't remember any others?

We’ve only scored more than 3 goals once in a game I believeVeganO wrote: ↑Sat Feb 18, 2023 7:26 pm Astonishing to be 13 points clear & yet we've only scored 42. It just shows how superb the team as a whole has been in defending.

Also in our favour he's developing really well under Wellens, who by his own admission gives El Miz a tougher time as he was a CM himself and wants him to be the best player he can be.RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 18, 2023 7:08 pmWhy wouldn't he because he's arguably the first name on our team sheet . I think Theo flashed a cross over in the first half and I think Drinan touched it and it went just wide of the post.TRUMP Plumbing wrote: ↑Sat Feb 18, 2023 8:09 pm Can someone remind me of all Drinnans glaring misses? Think we’ll need better quality in League 1

It will 100% categorically not happen that we’ll keep him next season. It’s pointless thinking otherwise. We just need to make sure we’ve a good replacement lined up.gshaw wrote: ↑Sat Feb 18, 2023 8:21 pmAlso in our favour he's developing really well under Wellens, who by his own admission gives El Miz a tougher time as he was a CM himself and wants him to be the best player he can be.RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 18, 2023 7:08 pmWhy wouldn't he because he's arguably the first name on our team sheet .
