Your mate is in charge of player recruitment and retention at Ipswich town? Impressive.Jman wrote: ↑Sun Feb 12, 2023 8:03 amSpoke to an Ipswich supporting mate last night, wasn’t overly fussed about him and thinks they’d let him go easily. That’s definitely not a big indication one way or another but just thought it was interesting that in his eyes, they don’t rate him that highlycockhat wrote: ↑Sat Feb 11, 2023 7:43 pmWe will at least until the end of the season.Jman wrote: ↑Sat Feb 11, 2023 6:05 pm Cheers for the ratings.
Said many times El Mizouni is the absolute key to this squad, he’s brilliant. Has not only transformed our midfield, our team, and moreover our fortunes this year. We’ve been crying out for this sort of player for so long, lucky to have him and hope we can keep him
Don’t see Ipswich letting him leave.

Beckles dug Turns out time and time again today, as he has done every game they've played together. I don't understand how someone can see things so incorrectly.

Re: Ratings.
My point is- often you'll get a player sent on loan by a club higher up the leagues, and that club or at least the fanbase rates said player highly. Look at Alex Mitchell, Ed Turns etc. Know one ITFC fan and have met a few that don't seem to rate him that highly and felt he wasn't cut out for league 1. Of course, that may all change considering the season he's having here and I'm sure he's come along a lot as a player. The Reverend wrote: ↑Sun Feb 12, 2023 8:16 amYour mate is in charge of player recruitment and retention at Ipswich town? On a separate note, the Ed Turns goal- just had a chance to see it properly. What a finish!!
You would've had long odds on him as our first goalscorer in the last 2 fixtures but fair play to him

Re: Ratings.
Pratley would have done that job. He has been good at tracking back and winning headers in the box. It highlights clays weaknessTRUMP Plumbing wrote: ↑Sat Feb 11, 2023 10:16 pmYeah he did give it to them, sorry. He has to come across into the massive hole between him and Beckles that the goalscorer runs into. Great first touch and strike today though, he's obviously got good technique, so made up for giving them the goal I guess.

Re: Ratings.
Ipswich getting promoted would be key in us getting El Mizouni. If they go up they will look to add championship level players in which he would probably get shipped out. Require us getting promoted also tho.

I don’t think anyone thought that Alex Mitchell would be playing Championship football any time soon.Jman wrote: ↑Sun Feb 12, 2023 9:10 amMy point is- often you'll get a player sent on loan by a club higher up the leagues, and that club or at least the fanbase rates said player highly. No offence to your mate, who I’m sure is a nice person, but the opinion of a random fan doesn’t really mean much. We have Orient fans on this message board claiming that Craig Clay should be part of a L1 squad

Re: Ratings.
Turns should leave Matt? No way. That was Clay losing concentration and not looking around to see what was happening. In the end, Clay was marking nobody. That'll cost him his starting eleven place.TRUMP Plumbing wrote: ↑Sat Feb 11, 2023 10:16 pmYeah he did give it to them, sorry. After-timing but in all his appearances when the lad comes forward he seems to find acres of space in the penalty box (the opportunist striker we’ve been looking for.

Re: Ratings.
Turns lost his marker a couple of times at set pieces but that’s expected of somebody of his age and limited senior experience, I think the positives outway the negatives with his Orient displaysMilano wrote: ↑Sun Feb 12, 2023 5:39 pmTurns should leave Matt? Re: Ratings.
Yes Clay should have got back in but any experienced centre half is not going to stay at the back stick, 2 v 1 against their striker, and allow an unmarked opponent a free header like that.Milano wrote: ↑Sun Feb 12, 2023 5:39 pmTurns should leave Matt? Pratley is highly likely to come back in now he's rested but it won't be because of that.
