With any luck the arrival of Kieron Sadler will help them start scoring again . He looks to be the type of player that can create chances for them .
Personally I don’t think Sadler is capable of leading the line and I think Wellens has brought him in to play out wide to cover for Smyth and Archibald,I may be proved wrong but when watching him last Saturday he doesn’t look great at shielding the ball and he doesn’t look particularly comfortable in the air, however on the plus side he’s got good control and pace and seems to have a good footballing brain. I think he will be a very good addition to the squad

Dris is unfortunately not good enough and missed about 5 1 on 1 last year under kenny jacket and could not score for toffee in about a dozen games and contributed to kenny getting the sack. Rual is also not good enough to play up front on his own. You can’t play him up front cos he can’t win a header as a target man, he is to small to hold the ball up and play off him. This is why he is played out wide. But this does not work because he has no pace to take anyone on. The only way to get the best out of ruel is to play him of a target man like smith ( little and large partnership old school) with 2 up front but rw does not like 2 up front. Another option is the number 10 role but monks is a better player then ruel which is why he as played at a higher level. So it basically leaves ruel as a impact sub option because he can finish.
So it leaves us with Kelman for now. Next year all 3 will go to other clubs.

Good summing up
I don’t think any of the three are good enough for League One which is hopefully where we’re heading.
I agree that I don’t think any of them will be at Orient next season.

Agree that Drinan must be pushing for a start soon - nothing wrong with Kelman’s work rate, but Drinan offers work rate AND better hold up / link play.
Drinan has had such an in & out season , yet still puts everything in . Dont see Richie getting rid of him any time soon 13 goalt last season shows he can score goals .

What’s boiling my piss is the fact that if we’d had the balls to bring in a decent striker we’d have walked this season. We’re 8 points ahead and yet neither our main two have scored since Christ was a carpenter. It’s so frustrating.

Wellens knows the type of goal scorer he wants, he'll get him in the summer . Drinan has been injured half the season henc why he hasnt been fully at it.

Ruel is the best finisher at the club so either play him in the middle or don't play him.
But none of the forwards have had much created for them lately.
I think it's a choice, play Drinan or Kelman down the middle and get the energy and press but only a goal once every 5 games or so, or play Ruel and be more likely to see the net bulge.
