for a club thats supposed to 'open' with the fans, we havent had any real information on Brill or Jobi, and what the nature of the injuries are.
I even tweeted @leytonorient, last week and asked, but they ignored me, and didnt reply. Seeing as us fans spend a fortune following the club, they really should be a bit more open with us
Huh? It’s been pretty well highlighted that Jobi has a groin injury and Brill has a frozen shoulder
You do love a good old moan about nothing don’t you
Only via fans who've talked to someone a the club or in the know. As far as i know, the club hasn't communicated it officially?
Cue club tweeting something about it after reading this.

Give it a rest Lucky. Youre really getting tiresome now. Take admins advice and go board somewhere else.

Your constant whinging is tiresome but we live with it
Complaining that the club haven’t replied to your tweet

Laughable
Some members on this board really do have strange beliefs about how important/influential they are. It’s borderline delusional in some cases.
The idea that any club official actually gives credence to anything which is posted on this board really is laughable. The thought of Nigel Travis, a successful businessman, trawling through the sometimes deranged comments of a Leyton Orient message board and making real life financial decisions based on them is beyond ridiculous.
And then there’s the belief that anybody who tweets the club is automatically entitled to a reply. Again, delusional.
Just because you buy a tickets and attend matches that doesn’t mean that you have the right to have the club social media team at your beck and call.

Our CEO messaged me on here saying he reads all of the feedback on here and social media sooooo...
Reading it and acting on it are different things.
Perhaps so but the poster above found it incredulous that the club even reads this place.
A smart businessman would want to know what the general reception is to their product (football team) so having a scout around social media etc. would be a sensible way to monitor perceptions of how things are going. What they do with that data is another matter entirely.
I'd love to know what Kent's intentions were with his recent Twitter posts asking fans for their views. They were cryptic enough to make for some interesting conversations but came out of nowhere really.
Absolutely. Of course they want to know what people think- it doesn't mean they are going to follow that advice though.
I think Kent was genuinely trying to start a debate about a few issues, to gauge opinions on these issues. I don't think it particularly gives any clues as to what he thinks about those issues.

"Scouting" a message board would be a totally pointless way of monitoring the "reception" to their product because they would be using an incredibly small, specific sample. The people who post on here represent a tiny minority of Orient fans. Hence my comment about the levels of delusion of some people on here.
I admit that it's not beyond the realms of possibility that somebody at the club reads this board every now and then. However, the idea that any serious business decisions are made off the back of the twaddle which is written on here really is bonkers.

It's a pity that Admin don't tell Disoriented to board else where and leave lucky 7 alone

Did the club not change some entry policy in the West Stand off the back of like 2-3 people's feedback? Hardly a transfer policy but still...
Between Facebook, Twitter and forum that's about as much of a feedback loop as the club is likely to get tbh. Perhaps LOSC members too but can't see where they'd actually get anything short of hovering in the bar on a matchday

I've seen the club openly advertising focus groups.
Also, there's a difference between monitoring multiple social media platforms and actively listening to specific message board members. There are certainly some on here delusional enough to think that the latter applies.
My ultimate point is that there are some on here with a hilariously inflated sense of importance.

You're wrong mate. I know it sounds a bit crazy but it's honestly true.
Although your ultimate point is absolutely correct.
