Jayden Wareham
Is there any point to him still being with us? Hasn't come up to standard in the period of his loan to date; Richie fishing for another striker and Harry Smith possibly coming back as an option. All of this means his opportunities are probably going to be even more limited. May as well save the money (if we are contributing) and use the squad place for someone who will assist us better than he has been able to.

I'll be amazed if we are contributing. If we are, we shouldn't be, same for any of these squad filling kids.

The fact that Harry Smith hasn’t even been named on the bench since he has been eligible to play is pretty strong evidence that he is finished here.

As far as I know he's not eligible until the 11th January. The Reverend wrote: ↑Mon Jan 09, 2023 5:24 pm

In which case I could be wrong. I get the impression that Smith isn’t exactly high energy enough for Wellens, but we’ll wait and see.

You'd think that in part it was organised for him and others not seeing regular action to stretch their legs. Being relatively local, I shall go and take a peep.

I guess Nkrumah will play for Welling, his loan to them has been extended until the end of the season. They also have Antony Papadopoulos, Jamie Sendles-White, and Ade Azeez, who have all played for the Os. Perhaps Ethan Light might get his first run out for us.LittleMate wrote: ↑Mon Jan 09, 2023 8:50 pmYou'd think that in part it was organised for him and others not seeing regular action to stretch their legs. I was thinking the same about Ethan Light.Chelmsford Swimmer wrote: ↑Mon Jan 09, 2023 10:43 pmI guess Nkrumah will play for Welling, his loan to them has been extended until the end of the season. At the Q & A Richie said he liked Harry but he wanted regular football and that couldn't be guaranteed so he was looking elsewhere, I suspect he'd only be used if we were desperate. The Reverend wrote: ↑Mon Jan 09, 2023 5:51 pmIs that so?banqo wrote: ↑Mon Jan 09, 2023 5:31 pmThe Reverend wrote: ↑Mon Jan 09, 2023 5:24 pm

Re: Jayden Wareham
Having played for Exeter, if Harry plays for us in January, he then cant play for another EFL club this season, so I guess will then be committed to us for the rest of the season.Mike pinner wrote: ↑Tue Jan 10, 2023 9:29 pmAt the Q & A Richie said he liked Harry but he wanted regular football and that couldn't be guaranteed so he was looking elsewhere, I suspect he'd only be used if we were desperate. The Reverend wrote: ↑Mon Jan 09, 2023 5:51 pmIs that so?

He's already played for us this season, so what difference does it make if he plays again?Chelmsford Swimmer wrote: ↑Tue Jan 10, 2023 9:54 pmHaving played for Exeter, if Harry plays for us in January, he then cant play for another EFL club this season, so I guess will then be committed to us for the rest of the season.Mike pinner wrote: ↑Tue Jan 10, 2023 9:29 pmAt the Q & A Richie said he liked Harry but he wanted regular football and that couldn't be guaranteed so he was looking elsewhere, I suspect he'd only be used if we were desperate. The Reverend wrote: ↑Mon Jan 09, 2023 5:51 pm

Re: Jayden Wareham
You are correct, makes no difference if he plays for us again, not sure he can play for a third EFL club now.Adz wrote: ↑Tue Jan 10, 2023 9:58 pmHe's already played for us this season, so what difference does it make if he plays again?Chelmsford Swimmer wrote: ↑Tue Jan 10, 2023 9:54 pmHaving played for Exeter, if Harry plays for us in January, he then cant play for another EFL club this season, so I guess will then be committed to us for the rest of the season.Mike pinner wrote: ↑Tue Jan 10, 2023 9:29 pm

Probably found him another loan. Good Luck to him.
Hope he gets more minutes elsewhere

Re: Jayden Wareham
I think we had as much to do with the young man returning to Chelsea, as they recalling him.
I think we'll bring in a better striker now
