Don't rate Thompson and certainly wouldn't risk him after being out for 3 months or whatever it is

Very tough for RW.

If he puts Pratley at CB we lose a lot from our midfield. Thommo been out a long time. I would go:

Vigs
James Hunt Pratley Sweeney
Theo Brown El Miz Smyth
Moncs
Kelman

Defence lacks height though. I would expect Doncaster to go after us.

This looks our best lineup for tomorrow . I wouldn't play Thompson because he isn't match fit.. I think I'd start the game with him on the bench . He's only played 70 minutes in a game played behind closed doors since his return from injury . IMO, I wouldn't expect him to play for a full 90 minutes straight away .

James and Hunt may play either side.

2 holding midfielders today to protect the centre halfs.

With Thompson it's not a matter of quality, rather being able to keep him injury-free

Wrong person answered!
In hindsight I assume you would have played him for 90 minutes? Yes/No?

He's the only person who could've played there so was always going to be one of the pair today.

Oh well I suppose that’s half an admission he shouldn’t have been on the bench!
