Yep indeed - what a day. Bookies had Orient at 5/2 today. Seemed strange given the league positions but was reflective of the expectations of being an Orient supporter. That win was huge!

Had 30 quid at 23/10 to win today's game , out of the £99 return I laid out £39 on 3 trebles and an acca all to win outright , Arsenal , Ipswich, orient and Brazil to win the world cup , 1,400 smackers if it cops Oh well it's only money

Taking nothing for granted and will not be getting carried away until the time, if it occurs, when it is confirmed.

Backed to win only at 12s a couple of games in. I too backed last year the minute Jackett was announced, 33/1 ew, 14s the next day. The only other time I've backed us to win a title in 40 years of betting was in the NL winning season. Both Edinburgh and Wellens had a significant but partial preceding season to assess the squad and what the league requires which is key. Northampton the danger, surprised at how many games Mansfield have lost as they are the only side that has looked better than us over 90. Money aside obvs key is the cushion to 4th place.

I took 4/1 promotion, never got involved with the outright until after the Mansfield game when Orient were 10/1. Put them in double with Essex to beat Glamorgan the following day; which made for a most enjoyable day out at Chelmsford.

When I wanted to put a bet on for Orient to win League 2 at 16/1 I chose Bet365 which I thought I had never used before. I tried to register but was told my preferred username was in use.
I suspected that was me but that would have been tied to an old email address so I registered under one of their alternative options. I placed my bet. A few days later I received a letter from Bet365 which said that due the nature of my business my account was being closed immediately but all outstanding bets would be honoured.
I could not login to Bet365 and decided to contact Bet365 by email rather than live chat so that I had an audit trail.
After 5 email exchanges with different people from customer support I managed to get the number of the bet and a promise that my bet would be paid in May. I couldn't get myself reinstated so I am personna non grata for life.
Desperately hoping that the Os win the title so that I can get my sizeable winnings out of these people.

Used all my free bets since June on us to win the title ranging from 40/1 In June £ 2 fb to £ 30FB+ £10 cash stake for joining Grovesnor at 8-1 . all in all enough to cover energy bill next year if we win it .

I wouldn't dream of putting any money on Orient because I don't want to Jonah our chances . While I'd love us to go up as Champions just getting promoted would be enough for me . That's why I'm delighted we're currently 11 points clear of the 4 th placed team.. The further we can get away from the 4th placed team the happier I'll be .
