I’ll try to make it as clear as possible, as you’re obviously struggling.

You’ve posted a video of a racist Tory voter. I’m interested in why you think that has anything to do with the fact that I said that the fact that the Tory party eventually chose Sunak as their leader does not actually say anything about Tory attitudes to race.

For the record, this video *does* show something about Tory attitudes to race - the video is an example of casual racism displayed by a Tory voter, and illustrative of the way people with racist attitudes are likely to gravitate towards the Tories out of the mainstream parties. Again, your point, please?
He is more than a Voter
He is a T*ry Member & stated
"80% of the Membership felt the same as he did "
Given that Sunak was routed in
The Membership vote he could well be correct

Maybe one should listen to the Interview fully !

For some reason he kept banging on about England
Whilst he should have been talking about the UK .

Maybe a Nuance that you missed .

Most of the survey evidence suggests that Sunak is actually quite popular amongst Tory members, and it was only the perception that he was responsible for the final nail in Boris's coffin - through his resignation - that led to his fall from grace in their eyes.

Indeed. Can't help thinking those responding to the survey weren't being 100% truthful about the reasons they didn't vote for the billionaire Sunak. Tories have no acquaintance with truth.

We need higher taxes. Especially on corporates and tighter avoidance rules. I would propose retraining the DWP gestapo as tax specialists and letting them loose on the avoiders and evaders. More bang for your Civil Service buck.

So, a coronation for Sunak, then.

I’d expect him to steady the ship, which will mean more gradual pain for most of us as public services and subsidies are cut to balance the books, but it’ll be interesting to see whether Team Rishi tackles the thorny issue of the shitshow leaving the Single Market has obviously become.

At some point in the not too distant future the issue of some form of reconnection with the EU is going to have to be addressed. That’s gonna be fun.

I don't know why some Tory Party members are upset that Sunak was made PM without a members vote . Rishi came second in the last leadership contest only six weeks ago so logically he should have been automatically made PM on the spot . Truss resigns at 2pm and Sunak is made PM by 4pm. Is that too simple and straightforward. ?

Compared to 2008/9, when we had a labour government tax was 2.25% lower and the highest rate was 40%. So yes the Conservatives are the party of higher taxes. So you already have your wish.

Interesting take.

It's weird why the Super Rich want to encircle the State and control it to extract more profit and change the laws to benefit their class. But yet they bleat on about shrinking the State and limiting its role.

Maybe that's why the billionaire Rich"""yyy Sunak is PM.

Heard a fact about the Home Secretary on TV, to my incredulity, but having checked it on Wikipedia it appears to be right ……

Sue-Ellen Cassiana "Suella" Braverman née Fernandes, born 3 April 1980 ….. is named after the character Sue Ellen Ewing from the American television soap opera Dallas which was popular at the time of her birth.

Home Secretary Suella Braverman has challenged critics to try to "get rid of me", as she denied ignoring legal advice on housing asylum seekers.

Is she forgetting what happened in Southend &
Batley & Spen ?
