I know what you mean though - we were hanging on rather than controlling the game as we normally do - despite the extra man.

Re: Exiles Thread v Carlisle ( a)
Spot on Mr Wumble. Clay and Brown are good without the ball but we couldn't keep hold of the damn thing so it kept coming back. As you say, we looked like the team down a player. In the end, Carlisle knew we had no threat and were able to bombard us without fear.Apple Wumble wrote: โSat Oct 22, 2022 5:06 pm A wins a win away at Carlisle who aren't mugs. Only saw the last 40 mins but thats the first time this season I've questioned our mental strength and fitness. We looked like a team with 9 men. No midfield, no passes to feet, not one long ball won and they looked shattered. Drinan didnt even attempt to stop a cross coming into the box with a minute to go.

That was nervy but scoring 3 away from home against a good team when you're not on top form, is a really good sign.
Well done O's.
You can't beat a Sat night when we've won & are top again!

We did, don't care what we looked like at the end, if we were holding on on bombing forwards trying to score a 4th, end of day itโs the result that matters!
The result says 3-2 Away win for table topping Leyton Orient at in form Carlisle!
So Get in!!
Enjoy it boys

Embarrassing bad. I suppose, you were sitting at home . They all deserve a Pat on the back. True. Supporters. Well doneTRUMP Plumbing wrote: โSat Oct 22, 2022 5:32 pmSalute them?
I think Dave said there was about 200 of them there. Thatโs embarrassingly bad. They should be ashamed.

We are the only team team in the division who have let in less than 10 goals and people are still whining about our centre backs.Chelmsford Swimmer wrote: โSat Oct 22, 2022 6:07 pmYeah, Beckles and Happe are the weakest part of our team. Great result today
With almost a 1/3 of the season done that 7 point gap is looking very handy

What a day of sport.

Happe and Beckles were immense today. Despite us playing terribly, Vigs has very little to do. Beckles handled the direct stutt brilliantly.

I don't know if its my imagination but Rob Hunt seems to be picking up a Yellow in virtually every game he plays .
Re: Exiles Thread v Carlisle ( a)
Hunt, Pratley, Archibald and James are I believe all on four yellow cards - and the cut-off date for a one-match ban after five yellows is December 31st!
