It strikes me that our economy is being influenced by a bunch of gamblers and bookies, who seems to be making a fair packet out of speculating while causing real misery to real people. Can't we just find these people and put a stop to it all?

The true nature of the capitalists has never been more obvious than with this present intensification of the class war by them. They have taken the path of free market worship and purity to a zealatory new level.

Unfortunately, the response of workers isn't always revolutionary. Most of what is going on now with strikes is defensive and aimed at protecting jobs, wages etc. There is no political consciousness yet outside sporadic "organisations" like Enough is Enough.

The political "leadership" offered by Captain Charisma from the party who they expect to represent workers interests is lamentable because they are too busy sucking up to the ruling class trying to gain their trust to get a go at being in "power"

Fair enough. But I win, because I paid down my UK mortgage during the good times, and overseas mortgages are on low fixed rates for the entire duration of the term (bless the French).
