Just tried to watch the first episode of this. So dodgy I had to give up.

The opening scene of the sex pest on the train. Painful.
The prisoners on 'DEATH ROW' who are also detectives?
The man trying to hide his w@nk bank usb drive from his old mum. What year is this set 2002?

Would it help change your mind if I said it's a black comedy with elements of farce.

What has that got to do with

So that the rest of the plot works.

I have since been informed that this nonce liked a certain type of grot which may explain why it was on a usb. Unfortunately I had bailed from Episode 1 before this important plot twist.

To be honest I bailed after Ep 1 too. David Tennant really irritates me.

Detectorists (possibly the best BBC comedy drama ever made) is currently showing on the Drama channel.

Detectorists is not only the best comedy drama ever made. The innocence of it , the simplicity of the plot , the nerdy behaviour so similar to my own with my passion for the countryside and it’s wildlife , almost brings nostalgic tears to my eyes. It is genius.

Think I tried a couple of episodes and it was quite boring. 'Best ever'?

This is a tough one. I'd have gone with Dunners recommendation, but George waxing lyrical about it has put me right off. Then Caca goes and says it's boring, so I've put it back on my watchlist.

You should have stuck to it
The Nonce hangs himself &
Says dont believe the vicar .
The Vicars son murders his Tutor &
The Vicars wife Gets hit by a fast moving van .

The Vicar (Dr Tenement ) ends up in jail
After f*cking everything up simply
By trying to do the right thing

Unfortunately I saw a bit of ep2 where the vicar holds a woman hostage in his basement, how is that the right thing?

Like I said Tuffty. Tenement annoys me. Especially after he was in a show that the filming of which disrupted my clients and me I might add. Good night to you my good friend.

To stop her from accusing his son of being the owner of the usb . The farce shows how humans in the right circumstances can do the most dreadful things because of who they know on any given day that happens to go very badly

Have watched up to and including episode 6 of Dahmer. It's not exactly easy viewing stuff this, is it?

I am currently watching The Peripheral on Prime - intriguing concept that I'm quite enjoying. I suppose some echoes of The Matrix in some respect.
Gangs of London 2nd series - knockabout fun and games, only slightly less far fetched than the Peripheral.

Anyone watched the new Adam Curtis on iplayer?

Talking of, thoroughly recommend the lovebox in your living room. Enfield and whitehouse Curtis style send up of the bbc.
