Friend or faux wrote: Fri Sep 02, 2022 11:29 am I've been watching the price of my weekly shop, go even higher at Morrisons this morning. A damn sight more scary than a lot of horror films that I have ever seen.
Lurpak now hovering just under the critical £5 a tub mark , at £4.99 at our local Morrisons.

I recommend Aldi. Bought two sweet potatoes the other day which should have been 57p each. But get this, the checkout geezer put them through as baking potatoes at 19p each. Back of the net!!
Update - Morrisons doing 2 Lurpaks for £7 this week. Too late for us. After trying Nordpak, Danepak, Anypak, Waitrosese's equivalent and Morrisons own brand we have settled on Morrisons own brand. At £2.49 it's a steal. Waitrosese's was the worst BTW, way too margeriney.

Rings Of Power is bloody excellent.

As is House of the Dragon, and Andor.

We’re in a golden age of telly. Especially with how brilliant Better Call Saul was

The America with Simon Reeves series on iPlayer. I do like his stuff, even if he is a raging wet liberal do-gooder.

Cunk On Earth, BBC iPlayer.

Informative as always from a true professional in her field. Far superior than Cox and Attenborough

Don't Worry Darling.

Florence Pugh is good in it, and it's visually well made. But a bit meh with the rest of it. And Harry Styles cannot act.

Finished Alma’s Not Normal on iplayer which is a very refreshing and funny comedy.

Trying to get into This Is Us on a recommendation from a mate. It’s strangely comforting telly but so cringy I’m not sure if I can go on for much longer

Direct hit. They'll be able to work out whether they've managed to shift it from its orbit over the next few days, weeks and months.

Nope, this was just a practice,to see if they could.

At least it wasn't heading for Earth before they crashed into it. Who knows now.

I've been watching a cracking investigative programme which provides documentary and witness evidence that proves Jerombaly Corbin was framed by the disgusting bureaucrats and right wing of his own party.

Part 3 on tonight. Cannae wait.

Just watched the film Life, brilliant movie. Six astronauts find something on Mars which is not friendly.
Excellent twist at the end.

I was planning to watch Dahmer, then I realised this morning that the Walthamstow cannibal lived maybe twenty five yards tops from my home
