The fact that he (and/or Mummy) agreed a mega amount for compensation would suggest that 'holding his nerve' was not really going to win the argument in court. Quite frankly, his 'evidence' to support his denial was quite shameful and embarrassing IMO (he doesn't sweat, the picture was photoshopped, he was in Pizza Express with his children at the alleged time, etc). I suspect he had hoped that his royal bluster and power would
frighten her into retreat?
Those 'defences' were all about seeking to rubbish and devalue her person and her testimony, mainly by asserting his inborn superiority as in 'being a royal'.

I think he should find meaningful employment, for the next few years, until he is of retirement age.
Something like green keeper at one of his golf courses. Mowing the grass, weeding, watering the greens, will do him the world of good.
At 66, he can retire on a state pension of around £170 per week, and live a frugal life like other ordinary people of that age. I do realize he hasn't contributed any NI contributions during the years, so his state pension will be in jeopardy.

By the time he retires I think the state pension age might be 67 ?

That's good in theory but we have seen that in reality they are just empty words: after Johnson dismissed all the Tory MPs who would not act as his dummies, he had no majority in parliament but he still made the Queen perform for his opening of parliament and she duly obliged.

It remains to be seen if she has anything to say when the police investigation into No10 parties are concluded.
