Re: RIP a tribute
That should never be done to any corpse, we may not like the person in the body, but that is no excuse to abuse the corpse

Re: RIP a tribute
Think I saw something on Instagram yesterday with a billboard near Leeds which had her life span as being 1926-2021.Max B Gold wrote: ↑Fri Sep 09, 2022 10:37 am Just driven to Paisley to meet with Council and all the billboards have Liz on them. FFS!
I'm a bit anxious about the meeting because when I called to arrange it yesterday at the end of the call, thinking it had ended, I muttered "Fuking useless khunts" under my breath and shat myself when the women on the other end of the call said "Is there something else I can help you with?"
I know it's been a rubbish few years, but even I hoped we were closer to 2023 than 2021.

Re: RIP a tribute
My company has now set up a digital book of condolence, where employees can write their heartfelt messages and share in this moment of profound grief. Which will then be stored for prosperity in an excel file on a shared drive.

When I was at the Council offices this morning I took the opportunity to sign their book of condolence and wrote "Abolish Religion and Monarchy" signed Tom Paine.

Re: RIP a tribute
I may just post the occasional heart-warming message from our book of condolence:
"You are the Mother of all mothers. The Sacred Womb that birthed nations. You are in safer hands, the same that handed you over to humanity as a special Gift. You are blessed forever...Queen Elizabeth II...."

I'm monitoring the situation, but so far I'd describe their reaction as minimal, but diplomatically enough.Max B Gold wrote: ↑Fri Sep 09, 2022 2:29 pmHow are China taking it?Dunners wrote: ↑Fri Sep 09, 2022 2:08 pm Oh boy, this is taking all my strength:

Is "Queen Consultant" an upgrade on Queen Consort? Happy for her if she's got a promotion.Dunners wrote: ↑Fri Sep 09, 2022 2:08 pm Oh boy, this is taking all my strength:

Estate agents in my area have replaced their window adverts with the royal ensign 'as a mark of respect'.
