Re: Ole Gunnar Solskjaer
He's doing much better than the quality of that squad. They need a new back four (maybe with the exception of shaw if he can stay fit) and at least 2 midfielders. Probably a new keeper too as de gae seems to have lost interest, and maybe even a new centre forward as lukaku has been well off the pace this year

May well be right there. So many football managers now being given golden handshakes where 3 year contracts given then they get sacked the following season !! Money for old rope and often these same managers soon get back into another football managers job !!

Re: Ole Gunnar Solskjaer
There’s no way they couldn’t have given him the job after the run of results he had. Funny to see so many people who said he had to be made manager after his great start now saying after a poor mini-run that he shouldn’t have got the job.Sid Bishop wrote: ↑Mon Apr 22, 2019 11:58 amMay well be right there. can see your point. I still think they could have waited after all he was not going anywhere.

Re: Ole Gunnar Solskjaer
By next season he will most likely have changed around his squad of players more to his liking and then he has got one or two seasons to prove himself, if no success, then the dice are thrown again !!greyhound wrote: ↑Mon Apr 22, 2019 1:58 pmMillennial Snowflake wrote: ↑Mon Apr 22, 2019 12:48 pmThere’s no way they couldn’t have given him the job after the run of results he had. Re: Ole Gunnar Solskjaer
Oops well now the pressure is really on. Will he handle it or will they have to send for Russell to thin out the high earners?
But manager of Man U is a poisoned chalice IMO.

Re: Ole Gunnar Solskjaer
He's beginning to look haggard already. That's what happens when you take over a major club, and after the bounce, it begins to fall apart.

Re: Ole Gunnar Solskjaer
was said on TV they are prepared to offload Sanchez.
how much is he now worth IMO peanuts, who would want him now his wages
are reported to be in region of 500,000 grand a week, think they will be stuck with him as well as Pogba.

Re: Ole Gunnar Solskjaer
Pogba will go this close season, Madrid will pay the transfer fee if he reduces his wage demands, to play for them I think he will.
As for Sanchez no one will take that on so unless Utd are gonna contribute to his wages elsewhere I think your right they will be stuck with him. However, I can see him wanting out, cutting his salary to a more realistic amount, but subsidised by Utd, which they will be happy with as it cuts x amount off the wage bill for someone else to utilise.

Re: Ole Gunnar Solskjaer
I couldn't understand how they thought he was the man in the first place, surely his stint at Cardiff should've warned them, if he couldn't cut the mustard at Cardiff what on earth made them think that he would succeed in the hardest job in the League, just plain daft.
