Re: Orient v Tranmere Prediction Thread OFFICIAL
A little pattern seems to be emerging where the opposition's tactic is to hit us hard a fast from the very beginning . We have to be on our guard against that this afternoon .o-no wrote: ↑Sat Sep 03, 2022 9:06 amHappe still worries me a bit though. He consistently overpowers his passes which I would have thought would be an easy thing to fix on the training ground. It means we either lose the ball or it puts the receiving player in a difficult position trying to control a ball that has been fired at him.Gary the Plumber wrote: ↑Sat Sep 03, 2022 7:04 amOgie made 1 bad back pass against a a L1 side, after Sweeney - a left back partnering him at CB - put him in the sh*t.Beradogs wrote: ↑Fri Sep 02, 2022 8:16 pm I am starting to get a little nervy about our centre of defence. Need something to worry about! Ogie appears to be regressing and was very poor midweek. Happe is not consistent enough. Thompson looks better at fullback although admittedly his games at centre half have been limited. Just hope beccles stays fit. On that basis, and with all our attacking weapons, I am expecting some high scoring games this season. Let’s go 3-2 to orient in this one.
Happe has had a decent start to the season and is rightly holding his starting spot.
Thompson has never let us down in any position.
I can’t remember us ever having such good cover at the back.
That said, Ogie did his chances no favours on Tuesday, so I expect him to hold his spot. We do seem to always give the opposition a gilt-edged chance in the first 5 minutes though! 2-1 the O's

I'm delighted with that win today . We were the better team and fully deserved the win . I can't remember Tranmere giving us any trouble apart from one shot . Viggers had a quiet afternoon . Top of the league and currently three points clear .Well done Orient . Oops, wrong thread .
