Spot on.
Let’s win the title in style.
Start on the front foot and ATTACK.
No point in looking for a draw end up conceding a late goal and kicking ourselves for the next ten years.

I disagree we need to get back into league football thus the biggest game ... don’t go up this year I fear a lot of strong teams next year and we lose a few decent players

I wouldn’t worry about stronger teams but yeah, the nucleus of the team is at risk.

Re: Biggest game in 138 years
At the end of last year I said that this season would be one of the most important in our history. Of course, got the same fools on here telling me to stop being over dramatic but I still stick by it.
Tomorrow and probably Saturday are up there in terms of big games in our history. The repercussions of they go wrong are hard to think about.

Re: Biggest game in 138 years
Not sure about biggest game in club history, but it’s a game which could very well decide if the past 2 years are nothing more than a nightmarish aberration, of if Orient are now a full time non-league team.

BTW, we've equaled our points total for the 1969/70 season, in old money we now have 62 points.

Wembley was 5 years ago. I'll never forget the date.
Big game for sure.

The biggest games in living memory .. Bury at home 1962, Aston Villa at home 1974, Oxford away 2006 and the 4 play-off finals. Have I missed anything out?

Re: Biggest game in 138 years
It's so hard to get out of the National League and so important that we do so that my thoughts are that this is right up there with the biggest games we have ever played.

Just remember that if things don’t quite go to plan these next two games, it’s not all over.

Re: Biggest game in 138 years
This, it could come down to the last game of the season so not sure about today being the biggest game.
However the outcome of this season will define this club for the next 5-10 years imo. Succeed and we could easily bounce up to L1 riding that wave of winning mentality. If we fail we stand to lose all our assets over summer and having to cut our cloth to an NL budget can see us getting stuck in this tinpot league long-term.
Do the business out there today O's, we need this...

Re: Biggest game in 138 years
Not so sure about the OP's claim we have had bigger and more Important games in the past. This is just the latest big game.
I believe we will prevail today, that Salford will drop points and we will be champions.

Re: Biggest game in 138 years
Lack of confidence on the day, Chiedozie injured throughout the cup run, plus lack of luck with the goals conceded on the day. Seemed like all these factors contributed towards the lacklustre display for that Semi-final defeat.

Re: Biggest game in 138 years
Considering we ended up dropping into non-league anyway, there's zero reason why these two should be considered as big as the Rotherham play-off final.CreamofSumYungGai wrote: ↑Mon Apr 22, 2019 9:00 amBradford 2007.point nine one eight wrote: ↑Mon Apr 22, 2019 8:55 amOrient-Chelsea 3-2 FA CupArticle_50 wrote: ↑Mon Apr 22, 2019 8:14 am The biggest games in living memory ..
