Good luck to the lad. I hope he proves all youse experts bang wrong.
We all do.
So why post at great length about his perceived shortcomings. That should help him.
Because I hope he gets better but back in the real world theres nothing (as i posted at great length) that indicates he will.
Lets hope he can will the ball in with his great attitude, or the defenders let him run through on goal because he's a really great guy when we need a win a the end of the season to stay up.

Looks like the club is really going for the cheapest route this summer, Alabi being brought back in probably at the expense of the new quality signing we need to strengthen the squad.
I don't think that's fair.
Wilkinson and Angol have come down from L1 clubs so you'd imagine we've had to match their wages. I'd expect we're paying them more as a pair than we were Bonne and Koroma.

He is a bundle of tricks; not easy to play against. Perhaps both he and Gorman will come good this season. We shall see soon enough...
"Bundle of Tricks" wtf.......he just runs, thats all he does. Can you explain what these many tricks he has, are please
Understandable decision in the current circumstances. Any funds for more new players will be available to the new manager if it's all gone wrong by end October and Ross is asked to step down.Fear that Embleton has been thrown under the bus by not being backed as Justin would have been. Go Ross , Go James and make what appears to be the majority eat their words.

Wilkinson came from Dagenham...
The Dagenham chairman explained that he had matched Wilkinson's L1 wages to get him to sign. I don't imagine he's come here for a pay cut.
We are clearly lacking up front. Tbf Wilkinson and Angol look decent enough replacements. But if one or both aren’t available, likely to happen, we come up short of quality.
Of course we all hope Alabi will come good. Why wouldn’t we, whether he does or not, we wait and see.

'Why wouldn't we', because it would prove you football experts right and boost your egos
The football experts also said he was no good in about September last year, and were proved right. All the non-experts willing him to be a good player clearly had no effect.

The logic doesn't add up. If a player wasnt good enough in level 5, why should he suddenly be improved in level 4?
Remember the same slanging match happened last year when someone on here said that he wouldn't get 4 league goals all season, when he was already on 2. Cant remember who it was but he got shot down and mocked. Some people never learn.

Spot on it's not rocket science!!!
Cheap option.
It’s the Orient way.
I think people need to get real, the owners are no different to all the others we have had prior FB.
They will continue to keep the club ticking over but don’t expect any real ambition.
The wage bill will probably be top half, no different to what it was under Barry.

Seeing your replies on this subject its obvious youve already wrote James off , give the guy a chance , i for one think hes going to be a revelation this season .

Ron - Understand your position, but can you explain your logic and what makes you think he will be a 'revelation'? Genuinely interested.
He's on a decent wedge here - offers did come in for him, but none were close to what he's on here. So he wouldn't leave - and that's fair enough. Him being taken off the list is just a recognition of a reality. Give him another few months and pay him off at the New Year if he's still cack.
But it does mean Dalby is less likely to come back.

Amazing there's such good will to a bloke who is paid a decent wage, who got brought in to partner Bonne, has scored 2 goals for us and is now refusing to leave meaning we cant bring someone else in.
Imagine that it was Plasmati or Henderson doing the same.

Yeah but we don't like the way you are picking on something about him he is powerless to change. Bullying that's what it amounts to.

tbf I think the sums involved here are considerably less. And he's also a "trier" in a way that the two you mention didn't really seem to be.
I can't blame him for wanting to stay - more money and opportunities at a higher level. I expect he's convinced the management that he'll give it his very best (which is all you can ask) - and with a new coach in charge, the view was pragmatic.

He has a funny name that you can chant and we sing a funny song about going on the pitch if he ever scores a goal.
