Colchester Away
Having not received any tickets in the post for the Crawley game I’d thought I’d sort Colchester even earlier. Anyone know what’s happening? No tickets available and not a mention on the website.

Re: Colchester Away
Clearly easier to get a flight abroad and watch the streaming than using the Orient ticket site.

I usually send an Email to the boys and girls in the ticket office and they’re normally quick to reply.Orient Punxx wrote: ↑Sun Aug 07, 2022 3:53 pm Clearly easier to get a flight abroad and watch the streaming than using the Orient ticket site.

Re: Colchester Away
Thanks - tried that for my Crawley missing ticket to no avail. Just would have thought somewhere there would be details about the great A12 derby that’s only 2 weeks away!! The old ticket system had its failings but blimey it’s hardly a step up with Ticketmaster.

Re: Colchester Away
Last season Colchester away tickets were purchased directly from Colchester United. Regards Orient, the Colchester Ticket website states:
Tickets for away fans are not available online at this time.
I suggest your wrath should be directed at Colchester rather than Orient. I suspect Orient will advise when Colchester make them available.

Yep I was mindful of that (although that was originally Covid related) but at least thought the Os would clarify that by now.Chelmsford Swimmer wrote: ↑Sun Aug 07, 2022 6:13 pm Last season Colchester away tickets were purchased directly from Colchester United. No.
And a train strike so possibly no train, or maybe one an hour, to the station.

Re: Colchester Away
If its the same service on the 20th as it was last Saturday 30/7, then from Stratford there is a slow train to Colchester at 8 mins past the hour and a fast train at 38 past the hour. Check trainline.com a bit nearer the time. I've had this problem coming to home games as I live in Wivenhoe.Chelmsford Swimmer wrote: ↑Sun Aug 07, 2022 7:47 pmNo.

Last time I went I asked the bloke at the train station what's the best directions to the football ground, he said just follow the crowd - I ended up at Colchester Zoo, well worth a visit !

Re: Colchester Away
Never know whether to bother with this fixture. The ground is about 15 mins from me but it’s such a dead and depressing ground and dunno if I can be arsed.

Leeds fans made the same mistake, but they did get to see Tony Yeboaconstrictor.KC & sunshine band wrote: ↑Sun Aug 07, 2022 8:39 pm Last time I went I asked the bloke at the train station what's the best directions to the football ground, he said just follow the crowd - I ended up at Colchester Zoo, well worth a visit !
