Anyway, who needs a version by ''N Trance'' when you have the brilliant and original by the Bee Gees, a song which was one of the main songs in the fabulous film ''Saturday Night Fever'' !
Lastly, I often wondered how the Bee Gees did not strain their vocal cords after singing this song in such high falsetto voices ?

I didn't realise somebody else did it before N Trance, Sid. Thanks for the info.

Plumber and Bishop could be the new SAW at this rate.

I think most music aficionados agree that the N Trance version is the definitive version.

Nevermind we’ve found someone like Ruel
When he’s running down the left he’ll shoot
Don’t you foul him, I beg
I remember Ruel said
Sometimes ill pass the ball but sometimes I’ll shoot instead

Can’t quite believe that Staying Alive wasn’t written by Ricardo Da Force, mind blown .

"Stayin' Alive" is a song written and performed by the Bee Gees from the Saturday Night Fever motion picture soundtrack. The song was released in 1977 as the second single from the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack. The band co-produced the song with Albhy Galuten and Karl Richardson

That looks a lot like Danny Zuko to me.
John Travolta was in the film ''Saturday night fever'' and the song which opens the film was ''Staying alive'' sung by the Bee Gees.
Read below. Also the version by N Trance heavily relies heavily on the original version by the Bee Gees who provide much of the background singing.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stayin%27_Alive

"Stayin' Alive" is a song written and performed by the Bee Gees from the Saturday Night Fever motion picture soundtrack. The song was released in 1977 as the second single from the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack. The band co-produced the song with Albhy Galuten and Karl Richardson. It is one of the Bee Gees' signature songs. In 2004, "Stayin' Alive" was placed at No. 189 on the list of Rolling Stone's 500 Greatest Songs of All Time.[3] The 2021 updated Rolling Stone list of 500 Greatest Songs placed "Stayin' Alive" at No. 99.[4] In 2004, it ranked No. 9 on AFI's 100 Years...100 Songs survey of top tunes in American cinema. In a UK television poll on ITV in December 2011 it was voted fifth in "The Nation's Favourite Bee Gees Song".[5]

I think you are having me on ?
OMG, John Travolta played the part of Danny Zuko in the film Grease.
The film Saturday night fever was released in 1977 in which John played the part of ''Tony Manero, a young Italian-American man from the Brooklyn borough of New York. Manero spends his weekends dancing and drinking at a local discothèque while dealing with social tensions and disillusionment, feeling directionless and trapped in his working-class ethnic neighborhood''
The film Grease was released a year later in 1978 in which John played the part of ''Danny Zuko. ''The film depicts the lives of greaser Danny Zuko and Australian transfer student Sandy Olsson, who develop an attraction for each other during a summer romance. The film stars John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John as Danny and Sandy''

I'm going down a James Bond themed musical compilation with this request...

To the tune of Goldfinger:
Aaron Drinan
He's the man, the man with the Midas touch
A striker's touch

To the tune of The Living Daylights
Ah, ah, ah, ah
The Living Claylights

Is this too much...

The youngters may need to google the tunes - start with the "The Daring young man on the flying trapeze" then the 2nd part is Chumbawumba's "I get knocked down"

He flies past defenders with the greatest of ease
He’s the Orient’s Paul Smyth and he just likes to tease
When he’s fed up of running he’ll fire in shots
He scores 30 yarders that scorch holes his socks
HEEEEEE’S (hold for 5 seconds)
Paul Smyth, he gets knocked down a bit,
But you’ll never keep our Smythy down
He’s our Paul Smyth, he gets knocked down a bit,
But you’ll never keep our Smythy down
…repeat
