Re: Charlie Kelman
Give him his due, Lingy knew what we needed and I’m happy that we’ve filled the gap by adding yet another unproven kid to our squad.

Re: Charlie Kelman
Underwhelming. But I'll give him every chance.
But I'd have rather had another forward on loan from QPR i.e. Macca.

Two decent strikes, one scuffed penalty and two empty net tap ins. What a season, son!

Were the two new young loanee’s Richie’s choices ? If so fair enough. In Richie we trust.Apple Wumble wrote: ↑Mon Jul 25, 2022 5:16 pm Give him his due, Lingy knew what we needed and I’m happy that we’ve filled the gap by adding yet another unproven kid to our squad.

If they were not meet with Richie's approval then he would not have them. He would rather work with nothing than be forced into something he doesn't want. He's done that sort of thing before and regretted it (spoke about that kind of stuff at MTM).RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Mon Jul 25, 2022 9:14 pmWere the two new young loanee’s Richie’s choices ? Re: Charlie Kelman
Hasn’t set the world alight with goals but looks a clever player, strong movement and good reviews from Southend and Gillingham. Only 20 years old so give the guy a chance.
Makes me laugh when people say ‘poor goal record’ or ‘never heard of him’ about a young loanee. How many of you had heard of our most successful top division loanees before they joined and how many were prolific before joining?

Re: Charlie Kelman
Who knows? Jackett has said he had no choice with the muppets that came here in January, it was them or nothing. They were the best Ling could dredge up.LittleMate wrote: ↑Mon Jul 25, 2022 9:45 pmIf they were not meet with Richie's approval then he would not have them. I’m not so fussed about Kelman, so long as Smith and Drinnan aren’t out for much longer which were told will be the case. He’s here to fill a short term gap and will then be behind Drinna and Smith in the pecking order.
But the boy in midfield had better be the real deal. He should be here to start games ………
