Signings 🤣
False promises by club 💤💤
Going into 1st game of the season with a weaker squad than last season, how is that possible 🙄
We needed the 2-3 new loan players in before tomorrows game v Dag & Red.
I just don’t get why it takes so long for us to get players in, something needs to change at this club, the transfer committee are an absolute joke, it needs to change otherwise we will lose one of the best managers we have had in years.
Message to the board, sort this shambles out and back RW or he will be on his bike!

Not a chance!
Most on here know what needs to change, but fat chance the culprit will be dumped!
Sadly no ambition, although a few on here will disagree!

Richie said earlier this week there would be a couple of Signings this week, but once again nothing
Before that he said 5 Signings would be coming, that didn't happen either
Before that etc etc etc.
I don't blame Richie, is those above him that are letting us down.
We will be a mid table team, that flirts with the lower reaches occasionally through the season.
Some of us are getting mighty sick of all the broken promises
You have absolutely no proof that anyone is letting anyone down. You are just reverting to the same old bash the DOF rubbish or it’s the boards fault .

We may well have had deals lined up for earlier in the week and been let down by the clubs or the players involved, it happens it’s just seems easier for some limited thinkers to blame people within our club.
Oh I see, it's never the clubs fault.
Other clubs don't seem to have the same problem.
Wellens knows who he wants, he’s not going to sign people who won’t fit his system.

Of course Wellens knows who he wants and who will fit his system. In my opinion the club are at fault for not being realistic in the price that has to be paid for bringing in the players who Wellens wants or this wouldn't have dragged on for so long.

And your evidence that Wellens and Ling are not compatible is what exactly?

Were they incompatible when we signed Archibald? Were they incompatible when we signed Richie’s number One target Moncur?
Were they incompatible when we got,Ruel, James, Thompson Ogie, etc to sign new contracts? Nah

Not a case of incompatibility with people at the club - Just the normal knee jerkers looking for a chance to bash people at the club.
No proof, just as you have no proof that the signing of those players you quote makes for perfect harmony behind the scenes. Like I say, no proof, my hunch, if that's ok with you.
Carry on posting baseless crap.it’s what you do.

It’s amazing how this thread has attracted all the doom mongers Poundshop, Chief Crazy Horse, COYOs all whipping up rumours of discontent at the club when there is nothing to suggest its the case. All because our loan signings haven’t yet materialised

Really pathetic level of “support” as usual.

Could be for lots of reasons clubs change their minds as do players, we might have changed our minds, but it’s just plain silly to blame people at the club when there is no evidence either way.

There sure are a lot of top class managers on this forum, makes you wonder how they're not in top jobs in football management. 🤔

Top 7 is a must, for the third year.....But yeah, you've got to do it with the same squad that finished mid table with the addition of a couple of lads that were paid for by mugging off Peterborough.

Don't forget to buy your season ticket....That wasn't available to buy for six weeks during the peak period.

Buy the replica kit for all your kids but don't expect it to arrive in good time ahead of the season

What does this even mean ? Or what does this have to do with people wondering where the signings are ?

That’s a bold statement.

Of the players that we’ve lost, only Hector, Khan and Mitchell were first team. Moss, Popadopadopolopados, Ray and Nouble weren’t getting a look in. So that’s really only 3 out.

And we’ve had 2 come in, Moncur and Georgiou. Moncur is an obvious upgrade on anything we let go, we’ll have to see with Georgiou.

You don’t need to be a top class manager to see we need more players.

Even our own top class manager has publicly stated it.

What an embarrassment, I will be surprised if Richie stays if it carries on like this.
The squad would have been in place before Portugal had it not been for the injuries. In terms of signings, it seems like you are so desperate for one that you would take another Nouble.

I'm sure the board are looking at signings so JUST CHILL OUT!
That’s the point, a few injuries and the squad is nackered. We don’t want Nouble but we do need an upgrade in certain areas. The fact we have not got those upgrades in place and the lack of depth in the squad is a concern.

I’m not writing off out chances either but I am also not blind and can see potential issues if we don’t strengthen in time.

I'm not disputing any of that, what I don't agree with is some people saying things as in they've been in football management longer than ours!!

The moral to this continuous story is/ put your money where your mouths are / buy the club /run it how you think is correct/ and take all this stick by the majority of the faceless keyboard warriors on here who are never happy . I for one will continue to support MY club / happy when we win/ sad when we lose , hope it’s a good day Up The Os
