The previous post is an insult to Richie Wellens. The rest of it is unsubstantiated rubbish.
Jessica, unfortunately like most clubs we have more than our fair share of idiots who in the main post complete rubbish. The majority of O's fans are I'm sure happy to let Martin and Richie get on with thier jobs and get the squad finished before the season Kicks Off. Unfortunately though there are a few on here with an agenda who simply have an irrational dislike of Martin Ling, been like this for a while and anyhing that goes wrong at the club he gets the blame. It's only a small vocal minority who hide behind an alias on here, probablt best to just ignore them.
Some of us aren't content with some of the crap that's gone on with Embleton, Fletcher and how Jackett's reign ended and want better for the club. If that means upsetting a few happy clappy types then so be it.
End of the day what matters is success on the pitch. Like I've said elsewhere I believe Wellens is the man to deliver long as he's given the backing and free reign to get who he wants. Hoping the fact that new interview has gone up means he gets exactly that.

Trouble is you arent upsetting happy clappies
Youre just making Emotianally sturdy Fans of LOFC
Laugh there tits off at pathetic attempts to influence
The Football club .
Its not personal G
50 + years of supporting this club builds a resilience .
Its not lack of Ambition
Its just the way it is .
How can we Spend our way to sucess
Over what a 4 or 5 year period under T& T .
Get real fella there are 92 + the NL trying to be succesful
I dunno if I'd call many members of these forums emotionally sturdy based off the non-football threads
When we were stuck in the depths of NL there were a notable chunk of the fanbase content to stay down there long-term and didn't get how badly we needed out of there. Fortunately a winner came along and showed this club can be the best of its level.
With Wellens I believe we can repeat that provided we don't see repeats of January again (even the "sturdy" ones weren't happy with that). They can laugh all they want, I do the same about people who thought Alabi would be L2 top scorer or that Embleton was going to get us promoted

Most O's fans just support there club wherever they may be .
Others claim happy clappies have no ambition.
Thats Just laughable.
Then there are the Half Wits & Ling Haters .
Pretty embarrasing & Shameful
The last one to be honest

What a load of self sanctimoanious crap. " I moan because I care and others are just happy clappies" do me a favour. It will no doubt come as a surprised to you and your ego that every O's fan wants exactly what you want. It's just that most realise that the club are building in a gradual controlled manner on and off the pitch to a plan, and as with all businesses there will be mistakes on the way.

For the record I don't hate the guy, that's a strong word reserved for a very select few out there.
In the clubs hour of need he stepped up like quite a few others did and stabilised it to become a football club again. He did as well as anyone could with the initial squad and even the Davis appointment was reasonable for where we were. He got lucky with JE coming along when he did, as did we all. The right man at the right time.
It's the DoF's performance since being back in L2 that's been called into question and imo he hasn't done a very good job. Lots of staff have been sacked and a lot of money spent off the back of decisions that do fall under his jurisdiction. Speaking bluntly about that doesn't a hater make.
Wellens hopefully is the one to get us back on track but that story is yet to be written, I don't think anyone wants to see a repeat of how last season went. Fingers crossed it'll be far better.

Oh G
Stop making silly arguments about what fell under his jurisdiction & sackings .
You'll be claiming next the death of JE
Fell under MLs Jurisdiction .
If JE didnt pass away who knows where we would be !
JE was a good man and a great manager given his short time span here - but we need to stop comparing the present to the past. If he'd been alive today then he would have either (a) been sacked by us by now (his decision to bring his mate Josh in probably would not have worked perhaps) or (b) he would have moved on to bigger things.
For the past few years we have had high expectations pre-season. The fact that this does not seem to be the case this year, is not necessarily a bad thing. Onwards and upwards......

Woah never that, never ever that
The only thing that could've changed those events is the defib that Charlie / JE3 is doing incredible work to change.

Yet you claim Ling got lucky getting JE , has made bad appointments etc , but NEVER seem to remember what incredibly bad luck dealt to JE his family & least importantly of the 3 LOFC . Think what Ling had to deal with there , during & after helping JEs family & LOFC . Easy to take cheap shots with RE & Fletcher !

You might not have high expectations but I certainly do and expect many other fans do too.
