I will phone the club in the morning and ask them to update the main website with the results of the second scan for you, since its such a concern.
That'd be grand. If you could also get a status update on when the next 3 signings are arriving too you can become "the man"
I am the man. I phoned the club and they said they will not be updating the website with the scan results but the information may well be forthcoming in a future interview with the manager. As for signings, its their policy to not talk about transfer dealings until such time as they are concluded.

Sorry its not what you expected (or perhaps it was) but I did what I could. In part I may have been defeated by the fact that I was the 6th person to call them today asking the same questions.
Was Martin Ling one of the other 5 😁

Does anyone know if our season ticket sales have accelerated after the good news on injuries and of course our friendly results?

Adz wrote: Tue Jul 12, 2022 10:49 pm I know we all like to see some wins in the pre season, but with wellens style of play you'd expect the training to be heavily focussed on fitness at this point, so the players are probably starting matches tired. Let's see how they look come the first game of the season
They will look Injured by looks of things

I wonder about the levels of professionalism during the close season. I think pre season often shows who's been keeping up their fitness. Of course with the number going down with soft tissue injuries you've got to question the training program, especially recovery.
No won't be lack of professionalism Adz, players are given targets for close season and first day back is all about mesuring fitness and BMI levels etc.
Players will get fined if they report back overweight or their BMI has gone up. Has to be that something not right with our training, I would imagine the hard unforgiving ground hasnt helped I was surprised our first game was on an artificial surface. we need at least a couple of players in PDQ so we can start to formulate a team for Grimsby.

I believe RW said in an earlier interview that nearly everyone came back in good shape....

You'd need to know what the injuries are first really but yeah, does sound as if something isn't right with our training regime.

Disappointed no write up on the game on the official site, just an the interview with Richie. Can anyone tell me who started instead of Archibald ? Were there any substitutes, who came on for who ?
