Re: League 2 players in numbers each club

You would imagine all those players coming in are better than the ones being released . It’s going to be a very tough season . Currently I think we’ll only finish mid table.

Can we do this with ins and outs to show overall change in squad size too?

I find it hard to believe RW will be happy with the transfer business right now given he'd identified 3-4 to be coming in before we got to the end-of-season dead rubbers.RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Tue Jul 12, 2022 3:34 pm You would imagine all those players coming in are better than the ones being released . My prediction if we don't bulk up the squad he'll be gone by January, not sacked but leaving us for another opportunity (probably up North)

Re: League 2 players in numbers each club
Let’s face it unless we get minimum 3 players in by start of season it’s another mediocre mid table season.
As Orient fans we are kind of use to false promises every season, we expect a pre season with positive transfer activity, then we lose 3-4 players and end up with panic buy deadline transfers before window closes.
If there was a table for teams failing in the transfer market we would be promoted every season.
Forward planning would be nice, we got Moncur now let’s get him a CM partner, a winger and No.9.

We’re usually one of the slowest clubs to sign new players and usually one of the clubs to underachieve .Stan1972 wrote: ↑Tue Jul 12, 2022 5:35 pm Let’s face it unless we get minimum 3 players in by start of season it’s another mediocre mid table season.

Better to sign quality rather than quantity and I still expect us to add to the squad before Grimsby in a few weeks.banqo wrote: ↑Tue Jul 12, 2022 5:59 pmWhereas Bradford City sign shed loads and are still crap!RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Tue Jul 12, 2022 5:51 pmWe’re usually one of the slowest clubs to sign new players and usually one of the clubs to underachieve .Stan1972 wrote: ↑Tue Jul 12, 2022 5:35 pm Let’s face it unless we get minimum 3 players in by start of season it’s another mediocre mid table season.

We appear to be looking at another ‘trialist’ in tonight’s game at Potters Bar, so maybe he will be signed if he impresses.
I didn’t realise that it’s mostly a first team tonight……….I would have gone, but thought it was a youth team fixture.

The squad is split with the other half playing another friendly. I believe that team has 3 trialists in it so we’re on the lookoutCheshunto wrote: ↑Tue Jul 12, 2022 6:49 pmBetter to sign quality rather than quantity and I still expect us to add to the squad before Grimsby in a few weeks.banqo wrote: ↑Tue Jul 12, 2022 5:59 pmWhereas Bradford City sign shed loads and are still crap!RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Tue Jul 12, 2022 5:51 pm
