condominium- what the hells that? Surely a block of flats. Another favourite is calling anything they don't understand a facility. Totally meaningless. Call them a w*nker & they just don't comprehend.

Been watching my grandson play some baseball. At the ground the refreshment bar etc is called the 'concession'. Thought that's what we pensioners paid to watch the O's.

First years called Freshmen, second years Sophomores. The end of the academic year is called 'commencement' - of the summer 'vacation' presumably.

One that also gets me grimacing is that Mains and Sides are universally popular in restaurants - one never heard of Big Macs or Whoppers in Wimpy Bars either!
