Wish me luck....

Post by Adz »

I'm doing the unreasonable east, a 200 mile run across sydneys blue mountains starting tomorrow.

If anyone enjoys watching a dot slowly (if at all) move across a webpage you can track me here.

I've done half marathons in the distant pasted but I can't imagine doing 200 miles . How many miles a day are you hoping to do and how long do you think it might take you . Oh yeah , and good luck fella .

I'm thinking it'll take me 70 - 80 hours, so 60 miles or so a day

2 questions - firstly, are you raving bonkers? Secondly, do you all get together for a barbie and a few tinnies every evening?

I'd probably have finished 7th, and in 75.2 hours, but well done all the same.

Are you going near The Terrace, Warrimoo.?

Visited a work colleague there 12 years back, just 4 days before liver cancer took him. RIP Tez.

Wouldn't have been too far from it. Never stopped in warrimoo before, what's it like?

Been there twice and both were ‘in and out’, so didn’t see much of Warrimoo really. Terry’s place was on the end of the road and the rear of his garden dropped sharply to the wild (“plenty of Huntsman Spiders but the Brown Snakes don’t come up too often” !!!). Had a snapshot of that view as my screen saver for many years.

All the best!
