What amazes me is that people like you and I don’t complain and actually do something about the gravy train they are all on. After all it’s our money and a hell of a lot of people are getting rich on the back of our hard work.
That’s the scandal here.

Re: Labour Watch
The scandal is that Farrago and co are claiming their wages and not even turning up to work. Voters knew this would happen and still voted for them. I mean, if your local MP announced before the election that he had no intention of representing his constituency in any way whatsoever and wouldn’t even be attending Parliament, he’d be deselected immediately. It’s mind-boggling. I wish my boss would pay to stay at home all day and do a radio show.
The fact that voters fall for this s**t again and again just convinces me yet again that some people are just too stupid to be allowed to vote.

Maybe it was tactical voting and they don’t give a toss whether they turn up or not. Sooner have nobody that someone they don’t want actually going.Stowaway wrote: ↑Fri Jul 05, 2019 9:23 am The scandal is that Farrago and co are claiming their wages and not even turning up to work. Re: Labour Watch
This week has seen the nominations of the incoming EU leaders, these will be voted on by the MEPs. We have just given the job to people out to destroy the organisation, thats going work well then.

The train has ground to a halt; the YouGov poll shows the passengers have left the train before it reached its destination.

Re: Labour Watch
Same thing happened here with Labor...went too far left and played the politics of envy card too frequently...Produced a manifesto which took the big stick to the so called big end of town, self funded retirees and Miners. Labor went from being the boss cockerel to a feather duster overnight..and lost the unlosable election.

Corbyn and his Momentum anti-semite chums are doing a great job setting themselves up for the ultimate accomplishment - to lose an election that is impossible to lose.
No mean feat.

Re: Labour Watch
You are right and the funny thing is we’ve just had a PM who was worse than Brown, a party that was ripping itself apart and with Boris as pm will absolutely wipe the floor with steptoe.Disoriented wrote: ↑Sat Jul 06, 2019 6:07 am Corbyn and his Momentum anti-semite chums are doing a great job setting themselves up for the ultimate accomplishment - to lose an election that is impossible to lose.

Now Labour is tearing itself apart with Watson heading one way and Corbyn going somewhere else. Each undermining each other. Policies being revealed that will slaughter the ordinary man in the street, with each passing day labour will lose more voters to other parties. Remember there is only one party committed to getting us out the eu and many many labour supports want out.

You have evidence for this, or are you just making up ‘facts’ again to suit your own narrative?

Re: Labour Watch
It’s reported in the Sunday times today that Abbott and Mcdonell have both turned on steptoe as they claim he’s being held hostage by his advisors. They want him to sack the advisors and bring clarity to his views on Brexit.
Oh deary me, poor old steptoe getting whacked about again. He surely don’t need this hassle in what seems like every day of his life.

Re: Labour Watch
John Cryer is reported to have said that the party has been too slow to act on the anti Semitic crises engulfing the party.
Panaroma has an expose on the parties poor handling of the crises this week with party officials taking legal action to prevent whistleblowers. Watson says that this is crazy with Wes Streeting saying he will use parliamentary privilege to defeat any gaging orders.
Can Labour fall any lower? My guess is yes it can and will.
What’s surprising is this thread has gone completely quiet from the usual suspects, which suggests everything that’s being written in here recently is spot on and correct.

Despite polling showing that there's a majority for remain now, and that the referendum was won by a 4% margin, Thor seems to think the country is overwhelmingly up for a Hari Kari no deal Brexit, presenting sod all evidence but loads of feeling.Disoriented wrote: ↑Sat Jul 06, 2019 8:03 pmYou have evidence for this, or are you just making up ‘facts’ again to suit your own narrative?

Labour voters are comfortably pro remain and all the top remain'y seats are Labour. But the most leave'y constituencies tended to be Labour seats. Tories tend to be less heavily bifurcated. Both parties are stuffed at the end of the day, Labour won't be able to land on a position that pleases enough people, Tories are promising unicorns and fairytales which will get exposed.

Re: Labour Watch
That’s a sample and is not representative of how people actually voted. I’d be more interested in reading that should you have any literature in that respect.Mistadobalina wrote: ↑Mon Jul 08, 2019 1:32 pmDespite polling showing that there's a majority for remain now, and that the referendum was won by a 4% margin, Thor seems to think the country is overwhelmingly up for a Hari Kari no deal Brexit, presenting sod all evidence but loads of feeling.Disoriented wrote: ↑Sat Jul 06, 2019 8:03 pmYou have evidence for this, or are you just making up ‘facts’ again to suit your own narrative?

Samples are representative?

I've not seen a jot of evidence to back up what you're saying here.

Re: Labour Watch
Good news! Kate Tally Hooey! is standing down at the next Election. Will she join the Brexit Party? Cannot imagine a more un-representative MP for her Vauxhall constituency. Good riddance!
