I hope your right SF however, RE will surely use and bounce things of ML and I’d say he’d be mad not to, but if he’s to be a success he needs to be his own man in decision making and not following what he’s potentially told by others.Smendrick Feaselberg wrote: ↑Mon Jul 08, 2019 11:59 amNonsense. Embleton wants to prove he can be a good manager so that they remove the interim tag from his title. No way is he picking a weaker team because of Ling senior - that's just massively paranoid. This isn't the Beelzebub era for god's sake.dOh Nut wrote: ↑Mon Jul 08, 2019 11:02 amAgree. I hope Judd plays ahead of Ling unless he proves not up to it. Then and only then give Ling a chance.
But I suspect Ling will get the nod. I can see Ling Snr having more influence over team matters this season given the lack of experience of RE. Of course that won’t be the public face of who is running the show.
The more I’ve thought about the appointment the more it makes sense to me, I wish the coaching team all the best for the upcoming season.
