Re: The Queen's Platinum Jubilee
We'll probably have this nonsense again in four years time, when she's 100, and then again the following year when she will have been in the throne for 75 years.
Sigh...........
Sigh...........

The question should be why aren’t you angry.
(Being 6 ft 5 and gorgeous is only a partial explanation).

Yet you chose to log on here only to get upset and angry
Rather odd behaviour. Then again, angry old man shouting at strangers on the internet isn't exactly a new phenomenon I suppose.

Really? Can’t say I’ve experienced this myself
Re: The Queen's Platinum Jubilee
The Queen officially became the second longest serving monarch in modern history today, having served for 70 years and 127 days and overtaking Thailand's King Bhumibol Adulyadej,
If she can stick around for another 713 days she can overtake Louis XIV of France, the longest-reigning monarch, with a 72-year and 110-day reign.
Congratulations to her, a fantastic achievement.

Of the 680 species of leeches not many live more than 10 years. Shows that if they get the best of grub and medical care that a longer life is possible.

Possible. It was very popular amongst the British Aristocracy. Not to mention the King who had to abdicate.Long slender neck wrote: ↑Thu Jun 16, 2022 11:53 am At the time it was probably just the latest craze, like that flossing dance.
