One free kick was three yards in from the touch line with the whole pitch to aim at and he sends it off the same side. FM!

I have never seen a keeper at L2 level as good on the ball as Vigaro.

Vigaro 7. Couple of incredible saves. Good distribution as ever. Thought he could have done better with the first but that’s being overly critical - no other keeper we’ve had in the past 5 years would have sniffed it.

Khan 6. Done ok. Maybe he could be a right back after all with a bit of coaching. Disappointing for the 3rd goal I think it was.

Wood 6.

Ogie 6. Needs to learn from that, yes he had every right to be angry but take it up with the bloke after the game out of the refs view.

Beckles 6.

Coleman 4. Ok defensively but offered nothing when we had the ball.

Pratley 6.

Smyth 6. Quiet by his high standards.

Ruel 5. Didn’t happen for him today. Spent more time on his arse than in his feet first half.

Drinnan 6. Worked and ran and worked. Couple of amazing crosses.

Smith 6. Looked like he took a whack early on and carried on because he had to.

Despite the score line, that was a good game to watch and we looked decent until their 3rd went in, which looked a mile offside. Much better second half when we went 3-5-2 with Big Smith up top.

I would like to think that this time next season, we will be as well drilled and disciplined as Northampton were. If so, with he extra quality we’ve got, we’ll be alright.

Ogie has been my player of the season but looking back at the highlights he looked like he was on the beach for the first two goals. He will learn from it as he has from other issues he has encoutered

I thought Wood was the weakest link in our back four on Saturday (though Khan and Ogie certainly struggled) - the way he lost his man for their fourth goal (at a point where we should've just seen things out to go in 1-3 down and in the game) was shockingly dozy.

I like Ogie too but he's currently flawed in a couple of ways. If he loses the ball he's not great at chasing back, he seems to give up too easily. Secondly, his sideways shuffle when ran at is becoming predictable and he'll get found out doing that as opposition teams do their homework. But he's young and hopefully RW can coach him out of these habits.

I think RW did and said something to the effect that he went backwards when he should have gone forwards, giving the oppo all the time he needed to pick a cross. That said Wood didn't do his job either.

The cross was down to him. He was 1 v 1, was not close enough, and didn't show the bloke onto his wrong foot. Fully accept Khan isn't a RB by trade but he should be doing better.

(I also accept Wood could and indeed should have done better).
