Nouble - Why - just Why?
I don't think he should make another appearance for us. He's worse than Alabi was and makes zero effort and zero contribution to the team. BOCO please.

Re: Nouble - Why - just Why?
Wellens spoke in a previous interview about trying to get him a game... well he's had it and played it like a friendly match down Powerleague. May as well release him now and let a youth player have a go, at least they'll try.

He did at least put the effort in when he played in the last days of KJ but tonight he played like he didn't want to be there.moonwalk19 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 29, 2022 9:55 pmHe has done nothing since he came to the club.He offers nothing to the team . Total waste tonight .

I’ve been saying this ever since he arrived. Most baffling signing ever. Who actually bought him into this club?
At least James Alabi was entertaining, and you couldn’t fault him for lack of effort.

That’s why Colchester let him go to a relegation threatened rival . He’s crap and will be playing NL football next season. I don’t blame Richie for giving them a chance but now he knows just how sh it our January duds are.

I agree. At least Alabi gave you 100% effort even if he wasn’t up to League Two standardChocolate_brownie wrote: ↑Tue Mar 29, 2022 10:07 pm I’ve been saying this ever since he arrived. Most baffling signing ever. Who actually bought him into this club?

Re: Nouble - Why - just Why?
Why give him a chance, he won’t be here next season. If you must experiment then give one of our kids a chance, one that will be with us next season. Wonder if RW was under pressure to give him a game. Can’t see any other reason for it. Absolutely pointless playing him. Pointless, which is how we ended the game.RedDwarf 1881 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 29, 2022 10:07 pmThat’s why Colchester let him go to a relegation threatened rival . Alabi wasn't up to step 7 standards, but he tried. Nouble is as bad, without the trying

He’s just not very good, is he?
Credit to him for earning a living as a professional footballer for so long.

Re: Nouble - Why - just Why?
Just copied this interesting and laughable stat from Footystats - out of 552 players in L2, Frank Nouble sits in 511 place on the goalscorer list!!
That means there are only 41 players lower than him in L2 on the list, and they are all probably Goal Keepers
https://footystats.org/players/england/frank-nouble
Frank Nouble is a Forward who has appeared in 26 matches this season in EFL League Two, playing a total of 1532 minutes. Frank Nouble scores an average of 0 goals for every 90 minutes that the player is on the pitch. This attacking performance currently places them at 511th out of 552 for EFL League Two Players who've played at least 3 matches.

Re: Nouble - Why - just Why?
100% agree. The only January transfer signing worth keeping is Khan. Kenny and our transfer committee wasted a lot of money. Would have been better to bring in two or three quality players instead of five plonkers .we’ve gone for quantity over quality and it showed

We’re continually told nobody picks the team but the manager. I have no reason to doubt that so it’s down to Wellens. All I can say is if we want to pick up more points this season and build a platform for next season , apart from Khan Richie should forget our January signings and just concentrate on the players he wants to keep

Re: Nouble - Why - just Why?
Richie only picked Nouble tonight just to confirm that he isn’t what will be needed next season.Stan1972 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 29, 2022 11:33 pm Just copied this interesting and laughable stat from Footystats - out of 552 players in L2, Frank Nouble sits in 511 place on the goalscorer list!!

God knows why Jackett or whoever agreed to take him for a loan period.
Harry Smith was also poor tonight, along with Coleman, Ray………many changes coming in the Summer.

Won't be released as he is not our player....
Seriously though I really do think there is a player there somewhere but LW is not where he should be.

1) Otis is NOT an RB
2) Nouble is not an LW
3) Coleman is nowhere near ready for league football
