Premier League Predictions
Looks like a two horse race again between Manchester City and Liverpool. They have far and away the best two managers.
Spurs, the annual chokers, in third place.
Chelsea and Manchester United, both with managerial appointments based on sentiment rather than experience. Pressure from ruthless owners and huge expectation levels from fans will make for tough going.
With Arsenal making up the best of the rest unless they buy four or five decent defenders.

Re: Premier League Predictions
Man city will walk away with title. Just a matter if they can win European Cup as well. Liverpool clear in second. And any 2 from next 4. Chelsea and man u have the players but rookie managers. Arsenal and Spurs should be no worse than last season.
Norwich and Sheffield United to drop along with Brighton. No Potter magic for them.

Re: Premier League Predictions
YAWN
That’s the sad thing about the PL . The majority of clubs start their season in August knowing they have NO Chance of winning it and their sole ambition is just to stay in it, purely for the money.
Leicester in 2016 was a freak and I can’t see it happening again.
At least in L2 most clubs have a realistic chance.

Re: Premier League Predictions
The only teams i take an interest in are those whose players are primarily British.

Re: Premier League Predictions
I think Liverpool may actually do it this time. Although City have just signed a cracking player that makes them stronger. I wonder if they fancy a proper crack at the champions league? They were capable of winning it last season and with a bit more discipline in the spuds game probably would have.

Re: Premier League Predictions
With the situation at Newcastle as it is, they'll be needing three teams to be worse than them to stay up!

Re: Premier League Predictions
The Scottish League is even more predictable than the English..........YAWN..........At least Rangers might push Celtic a little this year, but its probably a matter of how many points Celtic win it by...........YAWN.

Re: Premier League Predictions
Think Leicester will shock a few people this season. Especially if they can keep hold of Mcguire, Chilwell and Maddison.

Re: Premier League Predictions
Also think Arsenal will finish in the top 4. Utd may well finish outside the top 6 imo.
1st Liverpool
2nd City
3rd Arsenal
4th Spurs
5th Chelsea
6th Leicester
7th Everton
8th Utd

Re: Premier League Predictions
I'll go for Sheffield United to win it and Man City and Liverpool to get relegates. I wonder what my odds would be.

Re: Premier League Predictions
I would never believe that.I've put £10000 on Celtic and should get a return if I win of 5p.

Would like to see Liverpool win it.I really like Klopp.

Re: Premier League Predictions
Agreed. They got as many strikers as West Ham right now.
Palace could find themselves in similar trouble, but at least 2 of the 3 teams coming up will go back down.

Talking of west ham spurs have down graded the game to B level. Make of that what you will.

Re: Premier League Predictions
They don't look cheap. £43 upwards for Category B games, but seems as if there are very few tickets less than £50.
Was considering going for Saracens v Quins game next March, but I believe it will clash with Orient V Morecambe. Will be confirmed next week, but suspect I will be going to Brisbane Road.

Re: Premier League Predictions
I predict that the tv will hype the games up as usual even when the game is a load of poo.

Re: Premier League Predictions
Majority of games on TV this season 200 out of 380.
Must admit I had a rueful smile when I saw the National League games on TV - Loads of them. Wonder if Orient will be on TV this season...
