Ariel Robben

Post by Thor »

Has announced his retirement from football. What a player he was, a sweat and cultured left foot (another one for the list Cream!) and although you knew he was cutting inside and you knew he was going to shoot there wasn’t a lot you could do to stop him.

He won virtually everything in the game in every country he played in. I will miss him as a player as he excited me when he was on the ball as you knew something was going to happen.

Definitely Arjen Robben as pointed out. And he was always a bit of a cry baby, but one of the relatively few players who was genuinely exciting to watch, and with terrific pace too.

Amazing player. Great to watch. As said, you knew he was always going to go on his left foot, however stopping him was a different matter!!
