2 points in 3 games
Against teams who were below us in the league at the time of playing them. And two of those games at home.
This is completely unacceptable.
Why do we still have an interim manager?
Why have the board allowed us to play 3 very important matches with a completely inexperienced coach in charge?
How is is that other clubs in this division (and others) are able to bin a manager and get a replacement in the door within days and yet we faff about for weeks?
How long can we rely on last minute equalisers against rubbish teams?
The management of this club at boardroom level is becoming farcical. Conducting business at a snails pace in an industry where decisions have to be made quickly.

100% agree.
This is not the time for the ‘right man’ long term. This is the time for throwing 100k at someone for 15 games work.
National League will cost a lot more.

Yeah, let’s just hope there’s 2 teams more crap than us, or failing that , panic when it’s too late...

Re: 2 points in 3 games
I'm hearing the Travis audio stream interview was an interesting listen with Travis sounding rattled, did anyone hear it?
If what he apparently said is true that managers are turning us down perhaps the penny is finally dropping that something is very wrong in the structure of the club and how it's being perceived outside. Also the reality of NL being a real possibility might just be hitting home too.

Re: 2 points in 3 games
One should always try to be one step ahead of events, and when things were failing under KJ,the board should have realized there were at least 2 decisions they had to make.It was negligent in the extreme to sack the manager without first having a strong idea as to who was a suitable/available/willing replacement. We are hanging on by our fingertips here...If Martin Ling is the eyes and ears of the club in this country, keeping abreast of football matters here, then he should have already had candidates lined up.Other clubs have done this.Instead we are `reassured` by Mr Travis that a decision to make a decision will be made. The world of football can move very fast and we are sliding towards EFL exit gate now,not in a couple of weeks time.
Barry Hearn did a lot of stuff that I didn`t agree with, but he was shrewd and decisive with his appointments and I suspect he made them without the collegiate approach that seems to run through a lot of the club`s present processes.

Re: 2 points in 3 games
Bang on. There’s been lots of questions over what Lings role actually is. Form interviews it seems like he doesn’t identify players, the manager does, he also doesn’t seem to identify new managers anymore, or if he does it’s at a snails pace. Whats the bloke doing 9-5 every day?Perry Combover wrote: ↑Sat Mar 05, 2022 6:06 pm One should always try to be one step ahead of events, and when things were failing under KJ,the board should have realized there were at least 2 decisions they had to make.It was negligent in the extreme to sack the manager without first having a strong idea as to who was a suitable/available/willing replacement.
